  1. Wrong, they were 09 Raga's, saw my first one in the back of Munch's van last May.
  2. The first model 349 had a different steering angle as well as the extended swinging arm which differed from the 348. They were a bit like riding a supertanker as they didn't turn too well, the 350 engine also had far to much go & was a handful. Common practice round here as the extend the slot in the swinging arm for the rear axel forward to shorten them. Handling was improved on the White Wonder model that came next but it still had a motor that was too harsh.
  3. After consultation with the land owner we can now confirm that the Parkgate Trial cancelled due to the snow earlier this month will now be held on the 22nd of February. Trial will be run for all Green course & Easy course riders, there will also be a conducted beginner & small wheel event. Start time is 10.30 am, sign posted off the main road near Wensley.
  4. Anyone else find it odd that they'd use a song by Jim Reeves who died in a plane crash?
  5. For in's / out's we hava a laminator, we can then make our own with any wording we need. Also good for SO signs & shut the gate etc etc. I think Woody is after the stuff like they use in the WR's etc to give route deviations ie not using flags like we do up North.
  6. Was it shown earlier in the day? It certainly wasn't live at 8.00pm unless of course it's still sunny in Spain at that time of day. But then if it hadn't have been so boring I wouldn't be looking at roof construction etc. I did manage to sit through all 2 hours of it but it was a strain. All big ups with little or no variation, hardly entertaining.
  7. When I rode in Spain the cards went Black - Red - Blue, so do they have a standard system or did you you just base it on what you saw? Anyway we don't use cards,we have flags, red on the right, blue the left, deviations marked in yellow, we only ever run 2 courses.
  8. It's the weather, your bike is iceing up, don't alter anything. When you first start it run it for 10 minutes or so on a high tick over & don't rev it. Stop it & let it stand for 5 minutes. Hopefully it then should run right for the rest of the day. Obviously just make sure the carb is clean etc before you use the bike.
  9. well at least no one's cracking one off, perhaps it's too cold?
  10. Aye that's another 50 quid in lost bets the fat bugger owes me. Big shame to loose what always is a good ride round, tough on the Club to loose the highlight of their year. I'll also miss having a juvenile titter, Bell End Farm always cracks me up.
  11. Yes but you don't know where my inlaws live, I have insider knowledge.
  12. Just p*** yer pants, only downside is if you're not to sure where you are you can be certain you'll turn up steaming at a big spectator section.

  14. No wonder you were 20 seconds late, next time just stuff it all in as fast you can & hope it stays down.
  15. Slightly different part of Yorkshire but we've just called off our Club Trial for this Sunday. I can see their hills from where I live & they look just as white as ours.
  16. I've got my 9 year old sons obsession with football to thank for the fact I've just p****d myself laughing, oh & several pints & a motorclub agm.
  17. Did you quit training & forget to stop eating?

    Jacks TTT Evo

I thought Dabster's bike already looked like that.
  19. Are you having some sort of midlife crisis? What with you & some of Marky Boy's unusal posts what's the spot coming to?
  20. I sure I saw an add on Bradford's site a while back for Anthony Ayrton doing plastic welding.

    Brake Pedal

I'm guessing you mean that you've sheared the bolt inside the frame & not the actual pedal? I did one like this & the way we got round it was to weld a bolt onto what was left, I was lucky as there was just enough left sticking out of the frame. It took 10 goes or so to actually get a good enough weld to stick to just the bolt & not the frame but it do work. Al the Spanner told he done one by guessing were the hole should be & drill through from the outside, this is now a good way as you can get a good point of reference from a newer frame with the bolt on the outside.
  22. Without looking I think you're a year out, the 349's appeared in 1979, I bought a 348 in late '79 or early '80 cheap as they were selling off what was left. Next one I had was a white 349, pulled my arms out & had the turning circle of a super tanker.
