Get hold of it and give it a tweak , plus fit a button headed bolt to the head/ engine mount job done better than buying a new front pipe !!
  2. Buy some Raptors they last so much longer than any others , are very very strong. I have had mine four years and just been swapping from bike to bike and believe me they have had some stick and they are still not bent twisted or worn out !!

Cant understand why no one makes pattern plastics for trials bikes like they do for motorcross ,there are so few models to cover the whole range, has got to be better than paying the prices of genuine!!

As the addict said above i have an 06 model and run mine on 80:1 fuel/oil mix they seem to benifit from using super unleaded fuel as opposed to normal fuel, plug type bpr5es or bp5es the only difference is one is a resistor plug hence bp®5es!

  13. If it's a rear dog turd it boy you know it makes sence!
  14. The best people to speak to are malcom rathmels they are the importers i beleive!
  15. To be honest the things to look out for are pretty much the same on any trials bike! The stators can fail but you won't be able to see this when looking at one, some bikes leak fuel more than others ,some do not leak at all, other than that all you can do is check the bike over as best you can ,run it up have a little ride round on it etc.
  16. This is a nitride coating which is there to reduce friction and mainly to look good this will wear off when used, they all do this mine is the same, this is not a problem as the hard chrome which is underneath is all that matters !
  17. If you went on the michelin stand at the dirt bike show you would have seen they have a new x11(light) as they call it, whatever that is ?!

  19. The first thing to try is fuel try premium unleaded and it has to be fairly fresh, low octane fuel or poor quality fuel or stail fuel can cause these symptoms.

Unfortunatly that is one problem that we all suffer from and there is nothing you can do about wet/muddy discs&pads= no brakes!
  23. mad4it replied to benbeta23's topic in Montesa
Especially expensive considering they don't even do any mods except change the colour, most people will buy second hand or keep the one's they already have, and you will not loose loads of money on it as you do on new bikes!

Yes the carb is level as it sits on the bike ,but when you ride it ,it dribbles out i will have to find out what the correct float height is.The bike has a electricly controlled fuel tap!
