Checked the footrests and they are not sloping down, or up for that matter and I don't know or have the equiptment to weld although I could get someone at work to do it, will I have to disconnect the electrics and stuff??
Had a look at the ghost ones, they look good but was thinking about paying the extra 50 quid for some titanium raptor ones they should last even longer than the stainles steel.

My feet keep slipping off the pegs in sections so it is either the boots or the pegs,
It certainly is not my riding that is just absurd and those of you who thought that it was my riding dont think about posting a reply because I no longer value your opinion,
As the boots are new it appears that my footrests are worn.
Just wondering what you guys thought were the best replacements?????

If I had the time and the money, i would build a mini like
, have one of these and one of these

I was thinking more along the lines of a Hare and Hounds type race, do they still have the same scrutineering for them???
It was more for a bit of fun than actually competing.

went straight on to 4t after returning to trials after several years, only ever had 2t before the break.
Would I go back to 2t? No is the answer to that, I find them far to twitchy and snappy, I love the smoothness and managability you get from 4t and they sound awesome and when in a queue the guy behind me doesn't have red raw eyes streaminig with tears, like I tend to have sometimes. (thats normally from my score not just 2 smoke).

Hello folks,
I Fancy having ago at enduro on my trials bike and have a few questions, I was wondering if anyone knows of any events coming up in/near lincolnshire? Do they have a class for trials bikes? Will I be able to ride with my acu trials registration or will I need to get another liscence?
Also any tips on modding the bike? I think I will put a 14t front sprocket on it. but will I need anything else?
Any info is welcome
Cheers

Hi folks thinking of riding the BSSA trial on sunday, and have a few questions,
How hard is the hard route????
Do you normally get a good ride round???
How much is the entry????
Thanks in advance for any info
-
No worries mate, anything to help a fellow trials monkey
-
Very good,
you are quite clearly a very intelligent individual. If you follow the markers as tho you were riding the section you will find they are the correct way round.
So to answer your question "why the genitals"
they are there because you like to make yourself look stupid!
PS. lets hope you can work out this new fangled marking system before you turn up to your next trial or your score will be through the roof

Don't normally carry one unless it is abig loop (not many of them in lincolnshire) but for the SSDT, I had
-set of allen keys (the swiss army knife stylee)
-three short tyre levers
-9 inch extension bar with 14mm allen key on the end (I also cut a slot in the end of the extension bar so I can use one of the tyre levers to un-screw the front axle)
-combi screw driver (normally found in car spare wheel kits)
-long nose pliers
-small adjustable spanner
-dog turd kit
-pump and gas bottles (hebo one, it's tiny)
-valve key and spare valve core
-brake and clutch levers
-spare X-Blok
-split link
-front tube
-throttle wheel
-few nuts and bolts
Didn't realise how much I took with me!!!!!!!
it's all pretty small and packs away nice in a mudguard pack

I was chatting to a bloke at the scottish who attmpted to have a go on one, he kicked it over and couldn't get it started so kicked a little harder and heard a loud crunch!!!!!! on inspection it had smashed the casing around the kickstart all the way in to the middle of the engine!!!!!! now according to him this has happened to four or five of the beta 4t's which have had the 300 kit fitted.
I don't know much about it but thought I would mention it.
Maybe some else can shed some light on why it happened so it doesn't happen to you.
they do seem to get a hell of amount of grip tho

That happened to john sunter on the second group of sectioins on tue of the ssdt, got it welded on the wed morning and it snapped again in the first section wed!!!!! he drilled and tapped a hole and put a big bolt in to get him round for two days!!!!!! and he still went flying passed me on the moors!!!!!! now thats hard core
