  2. Mint in wed muddy conditions. I run irc in winter and dunlop in summer as harder knobbles thus lasting longer. You need to decide longevity = less performance or more performance = less longevity In other words stop been a tight a*** and spend ya money on quality.lol. Only joking fella Good luck in your quest for more grip
  3. Whilst i love to see trials front page dude, you gotta remember tmx stands for trials and motocross so a share on the front page is a must. Dont forget its motocross season as well so coverage is going to favour motocross during this time. Perhaps write to tmx and express your views. I too would like to see the girls front page as as we write this it may happen. Wait and see
  4. 4rt everytime, never had problem with mine and they like rockets on road. Although im changing bike to new manufacture for 2010 cannot comment on that one.

  8. Well seen toni bou eating a pot noodle so thats ya pasta sorted (not really healthy though) Common sense stuff really and if your searching for answers as to could your ridin improve if you improve your diet i think you need to think again unless your a 20 stone whale in which case losing weight would help. Perhaps focus on technique and practice and who knows coupled with loads more practice you will feel better and ride better. Just a thought dude.
  9. mine has picture on it also of boots , i think you been done mate, tell seller or get refund and keep disc. You then got it for free.
  10. cheers dude makes alot of sense. By the way got a mate moving to oz in a few weeks from our local club. Our top rider Michael Brown who rides at the club has been before and i remember him telling me observation there is often done on your own. How trustworthy is that? Anyway he is riding in syd so good luck to him. Thanks for advice it makes sense
  11. Does anyone know who can advise on correct suspension settings for bike, i have tryed all sorts. Im 15 stone 11 at present and have an ohlins shock fitted with stiffer spring. I have recently been told not to have any sag on spring so have adjusted to take up slack. A bit springy now so slowed it down. Front forks i have played with and on montesa have 3 settings this just confuses me . I have 7.5 oil in not 5 as couldnt get enough cushioning (good feel) with making it too springy. I have therfore would the compression up but this makes it too hard and turning a problem so today reverted it softer and more springy, which has helped the tunring. What i want to know is does anyone have any good tips and also who really knows how to set up suspension correctly. Coming from motocross there were loads of guys but nothing much in trials? Thanks
  12. Im amazed doug's allowed to ride these events. Surely under contract with Beta it must stipulate he only ride trials or does someone know better?
  13. First things first, Change from slow action to fast action this will make a massive difference. The power is more usable with slow action but not quick enough if lets say you leave it a bit late say. Start from there, its cheap to do and if you start re mapping you can open up a whole can of worms. Alternatively give it more throttle. Try it first and see you will be surprised
  14. Go to scarboroughdmc website, click on forums and follow the link.
  15. Toni bou wins trial today at carlisle beating adam raga by 3, his crash was not good but bike was spluttering like hell, it wasn;t his fault at all, they were working on it for 15 mins you could tell he wasnt happy.
