Support from UK importer and also the factory
Do you rate the 08 Sherco that highly?

Support from UK importer and also the factory
My question would be why a 2 stroke scorpa? What advantages for you does that have over any other brand? Generally the importers are ok but if you are buying a bike with a view as to what might go wrong with it seems strange to me? Do you want reliability as your priority? Where are you?

WTC Japan many riders on Yamaha's
as soon as the evo came out dougie and fajardo both had works clutches. The reason for this was that the thing didnt work well for the top lads. I had an evo as well and never had a problem, kuriyama will be the former i think.

I'm not a production engineer but i imagine that a production run of anything less than a few thousand units is prohibitive, and scorpas wont sell anything like that. (they did go bust you know) I am sure Crosswite said that it was the purchase price of the motors that made the scorpa expensive. There is also the question of whether yamaha want to be associated with Sherco at all? Whilst its great that this is your dream bike the simple fact that this is not a shared desire by enough people, or the bike isn't that great, caused lack of sales and an uneconomic production run. As the beta clutch isnt great I imagine its not one of those.

No Stop : not working
Really dont see why you have to give no stop time, we all know it can work, and certainly does for the "special" events you mention. However so does this mean that no stop is the panacea for all our woes, will increase the active participation of the youths, and sell a single extra bike? Does the BTC even sell bikes? If it does then the guys that purchase bikes must all be detectives because as a hardned follower of trials I found two recent events more by chance than anything else so how newbies would defies belief. There are many things wrong with the btc but the rules for the top route isnt one of them and no one has ever provided a good reason for them to be changed. Its 6 events out of the thousands that run every year so why should we disadvantage the top lads? And lastly would someone explain why the importers can decide the rules?

The economy
American general info of taxes in the 1920's isnt really applicable to Britan a century later is it? A "survey" of 3100 worldwide by the hong kong and shanghi bank is hardly evidence is it? Despite which side of politics anyone is on neither the last labour government or the current co-alition agree with your viewpoint which considering they have the best and most capable economists between them kind of undermines your ideas on taxes.
