    Even when a country (like spain) is on its arssse there is always someone whose business survives and thrives. Look at vertigo. Sammy going to spain made a turning point but trials would have survived either way or another im sure. Riding bikes off road is what we did and always will regardless of bikes manufacturers stars wtc and even advice from dadoff.....

    That's empty words Ian and foolish. I said above buy whichever bike you like,if you want to its your choice but proves nothing. 1 bike isnt going to save any company especially this one. Pleased for you to come on here and prove me wrong in 6 months, or the opposite.

    What do you think overheads are on the factory including wages for a month or two? More than profit on 3000 bikes? My guess is enduro bikes never made a dime.

    If they had any money why go to gas gas in the first place? It may be a dream but where is the money going to come from to set up, again? they had a factory it went they had a truck it went they had fajardo and colomer and others they went The common theme here is no sales =no money

    This is why i ask, have they taken ownership? Atom, maybe they have a special kind of rose tinted glasses in Catalunya cos someone gave them 47m credit and Torrot think whats left is worth 7m?

    I think as a day to day bike the Bulto is better.The swm had better power and suspension and brakes, but by 82 the modified bulto (comerford specials) were probably closer.

    Dadoff you ever been to australia (38 dgrees he said)? To expect every trials bike to be capable of every conditon worldwide is silly in the extreme. Especially for 7k (which bike ais 7k?) Oh dear indeed.

    Unless you throttle control isnt that great i would always prefer a 250. If you get a big climb or something which requires a bit of go a 125 is always more difficult to manage in the power band. Try before you buy!

    im not so sure thats true now, but i wasnt aware that back in 62 peeps like Anelay had the exact blueprint for Sammy. Youd like to think that the comp dept would have at least tried out the idea? FFS we had bantams then at least it wouldnt have been a big leap, but hindsight i suppose.
