This is a good point and something to consider, as I was a bit worried about this when I got my 07 200 new. What I have tended to find in general though is that although demand for the 200 is relatively low, the amount of 2nd hand 200's out there on the market is even lower. I had no problems selling mine privately and all the dealers I spoke to initially when trying to do a deal on the Evo were happy to take it in part ex.

Let you all know how I get on with the 200 and how it gets up some of the Yennards big climbs and rocks
BIg Climbs and rocks! On my brand new bike. I was thinking more a few laps round the car park

Yennards is good for me, or your place whatever is easiest. Hoping that my debut on it will be Sunday 4th, but have not had a delivery confirmed yet.
-
I am hopefully getting my 200 in the next week or so, so you can have a go on that if you have not got one by then.
Sorry, didn't mean to post this twice. Bloody I phone is crap.

Thanks if it hasn't turned up by the weekend after next I will drop you a message.

Cheers for the info. I know When I fitted an Akrapovic pipe to my 07 200 it made it run a lot crisper, and it seemed to give it more go off the bottom end.
I have heard a similar story to you about the S3 pipes on the Evo, basically saying that they sound awful, and the Arrow and the Bosi system only comes as a system apparently, as the front pipe from it does not fit the standard silencer. I will just have to use the standard one for the moment and see what comes available in the future.
Thanks
Dave

Cheers that would be good. I am getting a 200 though so probably like chalk and cheese.
Would be good to see how the riding position and the feel differs from the rev though. I have taken a bit of a punt really but I liked the old one and I really wanted another 200 so options were a bit limited.
-
Hopefully there is nothing wrong with it.
There was nothing wrong with the steel wheels that came fitted to my van either, but I changed them.
There was nothing wrong with my kitchen, but I changed that as well.
There was nothing wrong with my widescreen tv, but guess what I changed that for a LCD.
Infact there was nothing wrong with the Rev 3 I just sold, but I just fancied a change.
-
You are right it is the Bosi system I have seen, not sure where I got Arrow from. Might be worth waiting to see. Could be better to spend the money on Raptor pegs.
-
I have ordered an Evo and I want to change the front pipe, as this made a big difference to the way my Rev 3 ran.
What aftermarket pipes are available for the Evos. I have found that S3 do one, and Arrow do a full system, pipe and silencer but this is

Excellent, That's perfect.
Thanks for the info

Does anyone know what date the Midland Centre Christmas Pudding road trial will be this year? I think it's Redditch MCC that organises it.
It clashed with my daughters birthday party last year, and I want to make sure that it doesn't this year.
Thanks

I know someone that is selling a mint 08 if you are after one pm me and I will give you the details.

Rode the GS yesterday. Well Done to RMC. A brilliantly organised trial as ever.
Seemed tougher than in previous years, and the observers were quick off the mark, not sure if they were being extra harsh because of all the no stop discussion recently, but you were not getting away with anything, and as a bad clubman rider who rides sections the same way regardless of what the rules this means a high score. This is not a crticism as they were only marking to the rules, and I am sure they were the same on all riders, just an observation with the current rules change discussions going on.
Nice one RMC, i'll be making the 400 mile round trip again next year.

I think the game looks fantastic. It is great that someone is even developing a trials game. I am surprised that people are picking fault because it is not realistic to proper trials in some ways.
The kick start tv program was not realistic to proper trials but that did the sport no harm. It was what got me involved. I had never heard of trials until I saw that. Anything in the entertainment industry is exagerated, whether it is tv, a film or a game. They would all be pretty boring if they all exactly true to life.
This could have the same effect as other games like Rockband, which has caused an increase in people bothering to learn to play real instruments after playing them on Rockband, and they are not realistic at all. Hopefully a game like this could have the same effect, bring trials to people that never even knew it existed, or were not interested before.
It would be great on the Wii.

Does anybody know if the Rosebowl is on this year? In TMX regs, it has Sutton Falsons running the Inter Centre Team Trial on the day that I though the Rosebowl was?
Hopefully it will be as it's a great trial.
Cheers

Can you enter on the day at Adstone as well?

My 07 2 stroke did this. Couldn't stop it, so I let it get on with it in the end. Doesn't do it anymore. Only got 1/2 a shock left now though.

Can't really comment on the differences as I have not ridden an 09, but I think that the 08 was about

Yeah I sort of went down that route once when I sold my trail bike and trials bike and got a 4RT. I bought a spare back wheel and was going to change the front sproket to alter the gearing, with the idea of going trail riding. I never did though all the time that I had the 4RT. And ended up buying the 200 Beta and another trail bike.
Don't know why I didn't use it but just something didn't appeal. I live around 30 miles from the nearest trails and obviously I wasn't that keen on riding all that way on the 4rt, and being out of fuel by the time I got that.
I saw sandifords were advertising the long ride tank again like the scorpas. How much fuel do you reckon you can get in one of them the normal tank, a 1/2 litre fuel bottle and maybe a front number board. You need to have about 6 to 7 litres at your disposal to make it worthwhile. I am not sure how much fuel the long ride tanks hold, or the bikes for that matter. I think the mont only used to hold something ridiculous like 2 litres. Can you fill the long ride tank up straight from the pump? Is the hole big enough for the nozzle. It might be the way forward for me in the long run, as I am converting the van into a camper and will only be able to fit a trials bike in, not a trail bike.

Hello Sam
Thanks for the info, very helpful. Good about the chance to do the odd enduro on it. I have no plans to win any but would just like to enter the odd H&H. The lower seat height and higher pegs will be good for trail riding to. I prefer standing up but when I am on the seat trying to paddle my way out it will be easier than on an enduro. My mate has recently got an Alp and his pegs keep getting caught in ruts, so altough that feels great when standing up and riding it struggles when the going gets rutted, I was concerned the pegs on the T Ride would be at a similar height.
Price seems pretty scary for the 09, but as you say that may change by the end of the year.
See you have a 200 Beta as well. Same as me. We obviously have a similar taste in bikes.
Cheers

Thanks, but I didn't really want to ring Birketts and waste their time at the moment, as I am not going to be buying one if at all until later in the year. Just trying to plan ahead financially.
I have found an old TBM that has a test on them when they first came out. They were

Does anyone know how much an 09 T Ride is?
Thinking about splashing out at the end of the year, can't find pricing info on the web.
Cheers

Moved to 23rd august then. That will be why I couldn't see it.
Thanks
