    Rev 4t On Ebay

my freind got it, so hopefully it will be a good one. Looks pretty genuine
  2. I am going to come up and enter on the day. I rode it a couple of years ago. Great trial.
  3. Apologies for my ignorance, but where does the Scott start from? Coming up to spectate this year and need to sort out some accomodation. Will you be posting your usual spectators guide? I am bringing my trail bike. I realise I can't take it anywhere I wouldn't take the car, just easier for parking etc and more fun. Cheers Dave
  4. I ride a 07 200. I am 13 stone and around 6 foot. I ride mainly road trials, clubmen route nationals, classic rounds. I have never found anything that the bike has not got enough power for. It is far better than will ever be. Before the Beta I had always had 250s and had a 4rt immediately before it. The Beta felt light compared to the 4rt, and my results improved, but this was probably just new bike syndrome, as they levelled out after a few trials. If I was after another new bike I would have another, but I don't see the point in changing at the moment.
  5. I think you connect them to the breather on the fuel cap. and leave the other pipe from the auxillary tank open as a breather. I could be wrong though, I haven't got one. I think it is Apico that import them. They are Hebo. There was a couple of places advertising them in the last edition of YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE. Do they have a cable guide for the front brake cable on them?
  6. Not the most recent bike, but a Fantic 245 uses a tubeless front. As far as I am aware none of the modern bikes do.
  7. Rings after 4 hours!!!!! Are you meant to do them when you stop for lunch then??

    Beta 200 Riders

I have a Beta 200, and mine will pull fourth in sections when I want it to. Obviously don't need to use it that often, but if you wind it up enough it will pull it in most situations. The majority of sections I ride in first, as was said above it doesn't get me into as much trouble as previous bikes. I probably use second a little bit more than on my last bike though.
  9. Douglas is definitely the place to stay if you want night life. I am not riding this year, but it's my favourate trial of the year. You will absolutely love it. The Isle of Man is great to. The only downside is the Steam Packet company.

    2008 Rev 3 Mudguard

I did ask at the time i ordered it, and they said that it was something to do with using a different paint! Don't really believe that. What can you do.

    2008 Rev 3 Mudguard

I got one from Lampkin's. I think it was
  12. No further questions your honour, I rest my case. Trials clothing is a rip off.
  13. At that price, that sounds exactly like what I am after.
  14. Well, I may of not got a ride yet, but I am on the reserve list, and I am coming up anyway. Roll on July!!
  15. They will get it if they want to, as has already been said, chains can be cut through etc. It is all about making yours as hard to nick as possible the longer it takes them to get it away, the less likely they are to take it, and unfortunately for someone else they will go and nick theirs instead. I have my garage wired into the house alarm, and a ground anchor. Extra locks on the doors as well. If you have an integral garage or a back door to it, it is a good idea to drill 2 holes through the bottom lip of the garage door and into the ground and drop 2 pins/rods into them. This prevents them from prising up the bottom of the door and bending it out the way, and means that the garage can only really be opened from the inside easily. Also you can't see the pins from the outside, like the garage door protectors you can buy, so it doesn't advertise the fact that there is something worth nicking in your garage. A baby monitor is good in the garage aswell in with the other bit in your bedroom so you can hear anything that goes on in there.
  16. It's on the Richmond website now. I didn't get in, but the 2 mates I entered with did. GUTTED!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Apologies for another which bike question but as most of the bikes are now nearly at least 20 years old it's a bit difficult to go out and have a go on all of them. I ride as many of the traditional trials championsip as I can on my modern bike, but as I am a long way off 40 I am restricted to a few rounds. I really enjoy the series so am thinking of getting an air cooled mono to have a go at the rest of the series. Common sense says I should go for a pinky, but are they really as competitive as one of the last aircooled monos with front and rear discs etc like a Fantic 245. I used to have a 245 and struggled for grip but I thought something like a 205 would be a good option, and cheaper than a pinky. I realise a pinky will be worth more money in years to come as they are already becoming modern classics. Any other suggestions would be welcome.
  18. Dan Thorpe was on the cover, and a guy with an 05 Beta with an 03 front mudguard on it. I have binned it now otherwise you could of had it. It was a good trial, a lot tougher this year than in recent years. I have ridden it every year it has been run since 99 and it was back to the severity of the first few times I rode it (this was the clubman route by the way). I don't know if it was set out to be this way or if it ws just a combination of my riding number and the weather. The long gulley at the end of Dane bower was a lot easier this year! Thanks to all involved in organising it.
  19. You might be referring to Hook Wood. Which is owned by the Connor family. Sam Connor used to do trial training days there, I guess he still does (worth attending, one of the better tuition days I have been to). They also run trials there as well. I am 99% sure you can't just turn up and ride though. It is not open for practice as far as I am aware.
  20. Is there any chance of holding a TC Trial this year, I know it has been done in the past but I have never been able to make it. Without a world round on the mainland this year I presume there will not be as many TC users over in Bangor. It could be a good excuse for a few beers and a bbq. I realise Andy and co have lots on their plates with proper jobs etc, but I would be happy to help in any way I can with organising it. Sorry to all international users, I realise this only really applies for UK residents.
  21. Afraid not they are to deep. Gowge (is that how you spell it) would be a better description.
  22. Does anybody know where I can get a tank decal for my REV 3 that covers the whole side of the tank. I had unfortunate incident whilst practising on sunday and managed to scrape the side of the tank on the only rock in the whole venue, so what I need now is some cunning sticker application. I have seen the TTT ones but they leave some bits exposed which I think will still show the scratches. I have seen the pictures of R2W's bike and he seems to have them and I think the TTT ones from last year covered the whole tank. I have looked on SXS and they do not seem to do any tank ones. My only other option I guess is adapting the fork ones to fit. Thanks for your help Dave
