Twinshock

I'm running a Dunlop tubeless tire with tube on a TL250. It has new rim locks tightened as tight as possible. Looking at the valve stem, the rear tube is rotating on the rim. I assumed this must be the tire rotating but I marked the tire/ rim before last ride and it is not. The valve stem is noticeably angled with only one very mild ride. See pic with line and stem from one ride. The line is from black marker to black marker and not related to raised line on tire. This is strange. Is there a fix? To recenter valve stem, I have been doing a number of deflation and inflation cycles with a tightened valve stem nut and it does straighten out. I had a TY175 do …

I have the chance of purchasing an ossa, it has no documents but has been registered, and i can't remeber the number. However i wondered if any one new which model it is, Its all white in colour with a green stripe on the tank and airfilter cover, and the ossa emblem is written in gold, the bike hasn't run for about 10 years, and is in semi decent condition. Any one any ides Cheers

Hi im interested in adding a 1979 montesa cota 250 to my collection i remember my cousin having one back in 81 and it seemed a stonking bike , really zippy revved well? would this be badged as a 247 cota or a 249??? were they any good i remember it being superier to my 76 ossa at the time though i suppose it was a much newer model better tech, etc!!! only real problem i suppose is actually finding a good one only ever see 248 /349's and earlier 70's cotas but never late seventies 250's cotas WHY? imho the above bike looked stunning! but this was 26 yrs ago!!!

Can the guy who had an ossa engine and wanted a frame reply to this, I have a friend who has loads of ossa spares i,ll give you his number and you can deal with him.

Hi all , can falcon rear shocks be refilled with oil and air at home ????? my 6 year son thought they looked like tyre valves , and let one down , he did'nt like the oil coming out on him .If so how much do i need ??? or do i need too send them away......

I was wondering what the rules are for twin shock? can i run disc brakes? I have a little 125 scorpa that i really love and dont really want to get rid of can i make up a rear subframe and bang two shocks on or is this not playing the game? I have seen a lot of big money bikes that seem to be accepted

Hi, I' am looking for someone that can manufacture custom made sprockets to my Panda. The bike has a Franco Morini engine, the shaft looks very similar to the one from Fantic's 125 and 200 Minarelli engine but is different in geometry. Any resources as I need just 3 sprockets with 11 teeth for a 428 chain? I have just now a used 11 teeth and a used 13 teeth which comes from a Swedish 125 Monark which had used that engine too. these are photos i found on another site but as i found them useful thought id post them here, they should have about 80ml of 7.5 w oil in them. the oil level should be 65mm from the top when filled.

I'm doing some renovations to my MAR and want to run the ignition wiring differently to where I found it (getting squashed between the bashplate and the engine cases) It seems obvious to run the wiring forwards and up the RH front downtube as I see was done to the MARs I see in photos with Mick Andrews riding. My query is how to route the wiring to the downtube. If I use the exsiting grommet slot directly underneath the flywheel but run the wiring forwards rather than backwards, I suspect it will get just as squashed as it did going backwards from that hole. If I make a new slot for the slide-in grommet at the 4 o'clock position, I fear that I will be weakening the cr…

I need some help regarding the following for a 349 "white tank" Montesa. 1 - I need a fuel filler cap . 2 - Clutch and gearbox filler plastic tops (Threaded) and i presume the clutch filler is on the outside with the gearbox filler nearer the centre of the engine. Amounts for Fork oil,Gearbox oil and Clutch. It also has a Crankcase/chainguide protector that the chain tensioner fits onto, this is damaged and I wondered if there were any after market options available. Is there a standard spacer to replace the old speedo mechanism or will it need to be specially machined. Sorry if some of these are a bit vague. i would appreciate any help or advice. Hi there! I Recently bought a KT 250 and have been looking around for a few spares. I have found a company in USA (California) and one in New Zealand that can supply certain parts but postage costs to the UK are pretty steep so just wondered if anyone knows of anyone in the UK that can provide parts for this model. I keep a look out on that well known auction site but as these bikes are pretty rare parts don't come up very often. Thanks Simon
