Need information on 38 mm dia forks. The diagramatic assembly of the damper. Have stripped mine and want to check everything is ok. Need to remove old fork seals without damaging the legs. Can anyone help with copies out of manual etc.

I have bought a pair of Betor Gas Aluminum Trial shocks and found the bush a little too wide to fit in my frame. The bush feels like it’s in a spherical bearing so I’m not sure if they press out? I emailed Betor and I’m not sure they knew what I was asking…. It needs to be just 2mm narrower - so I could grind it down in situ, but if it comes out I’d prefer to do that. Stephen

Hi. I have a 76 TL125 that came with new 360mm Betor gas shocks. I think the springs may be the 50lbs ones and am wondering if I can source the lighter ones somewhere. With the pre load on the lightest setting and all the Gas released they still feel stiff. I'm about 80kg in gear. Is there any way to tell which springs they are and does someone in the UK sell just the springs? Cheers

Two questions on Betor gas shocks (on a Cota 348). 1. Should the shocks be positioned with the oil reservoir and air valve end up, and springs down, or vice versa. I've seen them both ways at local meets. Installed with the springs down creates minor brake cable interference on the Cota 348, but that appears to be the most frequently seen installation. 2. What is the recommended air pressure on these shocks.

Hi, Has anyone any advice on what settings to use on the betor rear shocks on my Fantic 200, I have a set of 40lb and 50lb springs and have tried moving the preload ring which not only makes the suspension firmer but also makes the steering quicker when the ring is raised. I weigh about 14 stones , what settings are other twinshock riders using?

Hello all!! Been doing some work on my "spare" Italjet 350 (don't all throw oranges at me at once!!), and I was pleased to see it has a pair of brand new Betor shocks, with the air valve. The air valve is at the top (by the seat), but the Betor stickers are upside down. Does this mean they are on upside down, or does it not matter? Are there any other Italjet riders on the forum? Help appreciated. Mnay thanks, Tommo

Hello, can someone tell me, how much play/clearance/backlash between immersion tube and standpipe is permissible, or is usual (Betor-Forks). The 0.15mm feeler gage can be pushed between them well. And in another case the backlash is even so large, that the shaft seal does not fit any longer. Peter

Think I posted having problems getting one of the gearbox bearings out, in a blind hole. The bearing is conical, and a small amount of leverage popped out the balls and carrier leaving a conical internal surface and no space behind to get anything substantial in to grip: So I ended up grinding it out (no damage to the case

Can anyone recommend a good pair of levers, I have a Majesty Yam that came with what seem like the most popular (cheap I think) levers on, I was thinking of looking for some better quality ones anyway, I have now broken front brake lever so have to replace the blade at least, good quality ones would be nice to improve feel and power, any ideas anyone ? Thanks
