For once, everything organised for the Manx Classic- ferry booked months ago. Had a letter this morning- Steam Packet Co has 'revised' our sailng times due to 'ongoing technical problems with the vessel'(really inspires confidence about even going!) Now we arrive just in time for signing on - providing the boat's not delayed/breaks down, effectively losing nearly a day. If thats not bad enough, try contacting them, you just sit in a queue for hours, on a national rate call, adding to their profits. E mails ignored of course. Has anyone got any sense out of these cowboys?

As above, for my C15... I've budgeted about £150, not bothered if the Alloy ones are lighter, just wondered what current opinions are.. I've looked back through the archives and there's fans of either, but a lot of the opinions are a few years old so things may be different now? I see a lot of Betors about, but is that because they look a bit sexier or what ? Cheers

Hi guys, i'm about to fit my clutch plates - using an eight plate clutch upgrade. My experience with more modern bikes is to soak the plates before fitting. As my engine is likely to sit on the bench for some time as i'm keen to do this. Consequently, i'm seeking advice on what oil to use? I'm not too fussed about price i'd rather run with something that doesn't encourage slippage. QM

Managed to get a triumph twin that is trials ready but needs a few mods. What frame mods do most people run?? my wheel base is still 56" is it best to mod mine or is there a special frame available?? Shall i try and learn left foot breaking or convert to right foot break ?? I have ordered a throttle reduction kit as the bike is really fearse off the bottom. It has mp forks is there anything i need to know about them?? Thanks in advance Dixie

Photos here: http://s1083.photobucket.com/albums/j381/Senor_Esteve/Talmag%20Trial%20Hungry%20Hill%20Aldershot%20January%202012/ Unfortunately it was not very bright under the trees and 1/40s at F2.8 doesn't really cut it for action shots; underexposed and blurred - but I included some anyway; its not everyday you see somebody showboating a Douglas.... NB I retain copyright, but PM me if you want an original 6Megapixel file; no charge, gratis.

i had a slight off at the weekend at the Peak round at Bracken Rocks. Unfortunately i didnt get chance to throw myself under the tank to protect it from a nasty log. The result was quite ugly to look at and was leaking quite badly. On the way home i found the details of M.E.S.S http://www.messcheshire.co.uk and spoke to Dave there who told me he could sort it. Dropped it of on Tuesday morning, by 4pm it was ready. Fantastic service and a really good finish. he also does all kinds of ally welding and fin repairs etc.
