I am in Milan this weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday, coincidentally there happens to be a World Indoor Trials round on the Sunday. What a stroke of luck. Does anyone know what time the trials kicks off. (knowing Octagon they probably pull it and have a round in Spain instead).

Reading about the first round of the Spanish openfree http://66.196.80.202/babelfish/translate_u...rcototal.htm%3f The video makes the sections look a bit easy, don't know if they were or not but the results look about right for the top riders. Is it the answer to getting more rider participation at top level ? Will more countries follow suit ?

See both Miguel and Aniol are ‘parting ways’ with Vertigo. Strange one. Will they still do what’s in calendar for trial GP this year and on what? bad times!

So was it all down to beginners luck and, following on from Raga's win in Marseille, has Bou's Bubble Burst? It was Bou's turn to have a mechanical failure, although nothing major, but it does seem to have affected his confidence, as it affected Raga's in Russia. But can he regain the lead, in what is panning out to be one of the more exciting indoor championship in recent years.

It seems to have been missed from the various postings on this forum, but Adam Raga is currently leading both the Spanish Indoor and Outdoor Domestic Championships. Whilst Bou was dominant this year at World Championship level he certainly isn't having that comfort at home. I was lucky enough to be at the Spanish Indoor in Girona on Thursday 1st November and quite simply Raga blitzed it. He looked to be on top form, whether or not he can carry that onto the World stage only time can tell. I'm no Raga fan but I think next years Championship, certainly indoor might not be quite a walk in the park for Toni as last year.

We have lots of topics on here about how we're riding under the wrong rules and about the adequacies or inadequacies of volunteer observers. One subject we should discuss is the section designs at WTC level. In the run up to Penrith, I read Fuji describe the venue as almost like an indoor trial, outdoors! Since the rules changed to no-stop (like it or not, they did, so let's not start that moan again today) I've not seen much change in the layout of the WTC sections. There is thus very little in the section layout or terrain to encourage the riders to keep moving. Consequently they sail as close to the edge of stopping as they feel they will get away with. I looked at…

.The British round of the world indoor series is this coming weekend, and once again there is bugger all for press releases on any of the top web sites, this can only mean the series promoters haven't sent them out? or am I wrong and the websites just cant be bothered to post world championship news, or is there only enough promotional $$$$$$$ for the Spanish rounds. Who is riding, and their current standings, or is it just a circus as many say and not worth the effort to let the trials world know what's going on. Why do they charge the event organisers a fee? is it to help promote the event, or just to give some sad bugger a room and front seats at the event. Any won…
