Few pics of Dad junior and Sam today at the dishes took a few of Jo on his Rev 3 as well so hope he will post them up tonight as they were on his camera. How the hell they do what they do is a mystery to me and Dad? hard enough with an engine let alone pedals I had a little go on Jo's bike but decided breaking the seal on a new pack of Old Holborn seemed much more appealing and less strenuous both lads really enjoyed themselves, first time to the dishes for Sam, think he will be a regualar now.

Hi everyone. I know this kind of topic sometimes p****s some people off, but I want to start riding bike trials as a bit of extra practice. I only have about 120 quid to spend so I am looking for a cheap 20 inch bike. I don't expect to get Hydraulic brakes but do not want HS11's, Good V'brakes would do me. I have had a go on my mates mission prodigy, and found it to be really good fun, but I am relatively new to bike trials, I was thinking about a mission, a megamo or an onza. What bike would you reccomend? Anyone you know in my area (N. Yorkshire) selling one cheap. I saw this one on e-bay, would it be a good beginners bike for a small 16 year old? I saw this bik…

I would like to buy a trials bicycle. Does anyone know of any bike shops in Amarillo, Albuquerque, or Denver who have them on the floor. I have found only online stores WebCyclery and Midwest bike trials . I would like to "sit" on one before I fork over $1,450. I am reluctant to buy one sight unseen. Advice on which bike would be best for a fat old man would be appreciated. Thanks Doug

Hi all. I just bought my first cyclo Trials bike - I'll be 37 in a couple of months though and I'm so unfit just tying my shoes is an effort! I won a Mission Prodigy with Magura hydraulics for a ton on ebay and I'm expecting delivery soon. I just need to find some where to practise, lose a couple of stone in weight and I'll be away!! Are there any other late starters to bike trials out there?

Evenin folks, Ok, I ride motocycle trials as you all know...and if you didnt, you know now. I want to start bike trials as a cross training and also because I want a new hobby, a new challenge. We live in Derbyshire, and the exact place where we live is GREAT for trials (street) and its just a shame to not ride it. Me and my friend want to start, money is not a problem (within reason, couple of hundred will be ok) but...what bike do I start on? For me...I am skinny and weigh next to nothing, I am fussy about what I ride, must look good, must be good. Must be a 20". For my mate...Hes about 6ft-ish, big lad, will also be fussy and will also want a 20". Ok, the questi…

Not exactly bike trials, but...... Just come across a reference to the 'Wheel King" bike, from the mid 70's (I know - a long time back!). Anyway, I had a new one, must have been in about '76/77. It has a plastic 'fake petrol tank' (red), MX seat, number plates, suspension front and rear, Drum brakes etc etc. Looked all the world like a 'crosser, and boy for a 10 year old it was cool !! Anyone remember them, or even a photo ??? cheers John.

It just seems like bike trials is a great way to train and yet save from destroying your moto. Another thing is trying scary drops and gaps ect... it seems to help with building confidence, courage! What is your input on bike trials?
