  6. Started by jersey stew,

Hi my son currently rides an Oset16 in Jersey, C.I. I have been trying to find a fair way to score our riders here who are at vastly different ability levels. As there aren't enough of them to split them up into different classes/routes I'm just wondering if any of you ahve similar experiences and a have any ideas. Sometimes the results are scewed towards those who aren't neccassarily riding the best but who are not falling off but actually foot the whole section! getting only a 3. I believe this isn't helping them either to progress their skills? I know its supposed to be about fun at this young age 5-7 yrs but surely after riding at least one season they should be …

Mr Admin Do you think it's time to add Mecatecno to the Bike Specific Forums. Production should have started (I don't know if it has) and a little birdie told me they will be available in the UK from Spring 2023. Surely they are more relevant than Xispa, which is something I have never seen.

Can someone explain, what the difference of CC'S are in bikes EG: Is a 125 suitable for a small lightweight person and a 300 is for heavier people or is the fact that 125's dont pull up hills etc? I have been looking at Gas Gas,Scorpa,Beta and Montesa. When i watched my trials DVD that i bought, the Cota looks like they struggle up steep hills, boulders and this was lampkin riding it,BUT when you seen a Gas Gas it just flew up the hills and boulders.I am a bit confused to say the least. And also 2 0r 4 stroke, whats the difference anyone explain,advantages/disadvantages. Just trying to gather as much info as i can about trials before i decide to part with my cash. Thanks

I'm not having any look here in the USA finding a set of Hutchin Trials Tires for my 8 yr old sons Gas Gas 50. It has a 2.50-16 front tire and a 3.00-14 rear tire. The Hutchin trials tires were really good, 2 ply and soft. MUCH better than these piece - o - crap 4 ply Cheg Shins on the bike now. We had a 1999 Beta Mini Trial, made by Trueba that had the Hutchin tires on it. We were really shocked when we bought this Gas Gas 50 and realized how bad these Cheg Shins are. Interestingly enough, I saw a new 2005 Gas Gas 50 at the Youth Nationals in Sequatchie, Tennessee, USA back in July, and it came with the Hutchin Trials tires. I've called Risin Sun, the Gas Gas parts im…

  20. Started by Andy,

I'm getting a ton of emails from people asking if this is happening who have obviously missed there is a dedicated forum about it. Yes! It is happening and will be the same format as last year. The forum regarding it is only viewable by registered forum members and is not visible to guests. Wristbands for this are available, but only to already registered forum members (not just Trials Central Supporters). Guests - please do not register now with the sole purpose of gaining wristbands as you will not get them unless I know you personally.
