I've been trying to call Vic for a couple of weeks now to order some bagged observer sheets. So far, I haven't had a reply. Have also tried email in the past without success. Does anyone know if he is still in business? Or, failing that, an alternative supply? Thanks

At various trials I have got chatting to a guy from the north east (I think) who rides a Scorpa. He had a alloy fuel tank mounted to the front of his forks where the number plate would go, which he had had made for him. He was definately at the Lakes last year, and I think he was at the Manx. He also brought some engine covers for his scorpa off my mate. Anyway the point I am trying to get at is, does anybody know who he is? I would like to get a picture of his fuel tank so I can have a go at getting one made. If he doesn't mind me copying him. I am hoping to possibly do a few long distance trials/ a bit of trail riding on my monty and need to carry more fuel safely. Or…

So there I am, I have the weeks to Christmas off, (been working weekends), and am determined not to miss the third attempt at delivering my new Hi-Fi stand I have been waiting a month for. So no loo, no shower, nothing. I am watching the BBC's "Homes under the Hammer" while I am waiting. Now last week somebody bought a Building in Knaresborough and My Brother appears in it as He's doing the rebuild of the upper two storeys into flats. St Davids round 2 Apologies for not being in Yorkshire but tomorrows St Davids promises to be a cracking event with a good mix of traditional and extreme sections. Not just big step after flick turn after big step!!! Come down and see whats on offer!!!! Practice over Jarvis and Brown looking good but Morris and Wigg both dark horses. Haslam and Danby not a million miles away either If you have nothing better to do tomorrow then head down to Neath. We have a good mix of section that will suit the modern and the traditional alike. is there anywhere around the kent area where i can take my trials bike just to do a bit of goofing around on? i'm not interested in entering a trial at the moment i just wanna get some practice in riding around, the bike isn't road legal so cannot take on byways etc, where i take it at the moment i'm not sure if it is legal or not but wanted to know if there was anywhere that did a pay and play type thing or similar... thanks in advance GL1

Hi all I went to the dirtbike show on saturday with a mate as we wanted to have a look at the latest trials bikes on offer, The new sherco 290 was on the MRS stand,The new 250 pro was on the gas gas stand,There was a beta 250 2 stroke on the lazer helmet stand and i think 2 more gas gas sitting on other stands. Did any one see any more trials bike or was it just a very poor turn out , I have been to the show for 10 years and i think this was the last. What a shame because it would be nice to have seen all the bikes under one roof. jeffers

The MOD have stopped all motorised activities on their land for at least 5 weeks. A good few years ago the ACU brought in rule TSR22a ie: Stop and you get a 1 This was brought about to keep in line with the (at the time )FIM world rules. I now think that it is time the ACU updated the rules in line with the FIM. It is like asking our footballers to play with 2M wide goals and 11 men but when they go to Europe/Worldwide play with 3m wide goals and 21 men. In which other regulated worldwide sport do you see the massive difference in rules? The ACU are under the FIM umbrella so to speak. Let the SSDT, Scott etc run under what ever rules are needed for that type of event, but lets get the grass roots of the sport settled into 1 set of rules.…

With the World round at Hawkstone looming on the horizon and the success of our get-together last year, planning is underway for similar this year. The way things are shaping is: * We'll again have a tent - bigger this year. * We'll again be running big screen Trials DVD's (great for keeping the kids amused!) * We'll again have a barbecue on-site. Could n't ride the Richmond trial at Crackpot last sunday due to work, however noticed in the results on their website that there did n't appear to be the clubman class as usual. Any reason for this as this is normally a fantastic trial for the clubman.

Entries close on Wednesday, I have 43 entrants so far and I will update the list and put it on Trials Central for those who are interested. Unfortunately, Gary has injured his leg and it will be touch and go if he can ride - Pereneal Nerve damage. No treatment for it seemingly you just have to let it heal by itself. Below is a statement from the Colwyn club regarding the cancellation of there Trial Colwyn Trial on Sunday 30th March - Cancelled After an inspection of car parking area today - Friday (and not even taking into account the rain forecast for tomorrow) it has been decided that it is too wet and muddy for car parking.
