Just noticed a comment on Lochabers website about unauthorised riding, and of course we heard many similar ones on these boards after the SSDT and the Pre-65 SSDT. This is a subject that is almost certainly going to come up more and more following the "right-to roam" public access movement and all it entails. It does not seem to be generally known but many private landowners receive huge amounts of public money for various schemes involving land management, tree regeneration and, most importantly, unrestricted public access for all forms of recreation. This can involve such activities as canoeing down salmon rivers and trail biking over the hills during the deer stalkin…

Any body who enjoys thier road trials should make a date for the Manchester 17 Hipwell trial. Held on the 18th of September you get a superb two lap trial on sections only used once a year. All sections have observers and its a no messing straight up sections trial on two routes. I usually do the clubman route being an aging over 40 and its an excellant burn round.

Anyone doing it? I will be going as its my local practice place. Will be my second proper trial so will stick the B route though I do practice the A route when I'm there. Went last weekend an it was really cover in leaves and a lot of clay like mud. Very slippy in places. So yeah, post if your going and hopefully see you there.

So let's work out who is running what rules in 2012. Yorkshire Centre Trials Championship and Group TSR22B No-Stop Yorkshire Centre Clubs TSR22A Barnsley, Bradford, Horsforth, Huddersfield Falcons, Spen Valley and West Leeds. TSR22B Bumpy, Hillsborough, Richmond, Ripon, Stocksbridge, Wetherby and Yeadon Guiseley. Ilkley do not run Club Trials but did run to TSR22B in their Centre Events. So what is your club centre running??

Hello TC people, I need someone with ''Sheffield knowledge'' to help me out, any replies welcome:- I am going to the Hallam FM Arena on Friday but need to park in the Meadowhall Centre car-park (wife and daughter mk11 going shopping/cinema). Me and daughter mk1 will leave Arena at about mid-night ish? to meet up with car and family. Questions- 1) Is there a specific car park at Meadowhall that will be open this late/long ? 2) What's the best way to get to said car park from the Arena at that time of night? Cheers, Wayne

I grew up in the early and mid seventies with TMX having loads of evocative black and white photos of bikes in woods,up to the hubs in mud etc. the sort of stuff that to me was magic. the ads were always full of loads of bikes locally never mind nationally and there seemed to be local trials reports every week. with the advent of sites such as this, the arrival of eblag and other sales sites the content of the weekly paper has been ravaged and no doubt its sales. ( no reflection i'm sure of the efforts of a valiant very few in morecambe) i feel that a vibrant weekly trials newspaper/ magazine is a lifeblood of the sport. i believe that more photos and articles on bike …

So, when was it ? Now?...................or was it 1990's? 1980's? 1970's? Just been looking at some of Rappers pics on FB, from the 1970's and 1980's which prompted me to start this thread and ask the question I reckon it was the 1970's & 1980's for me - the halcyon days when you could enter a World Round, if you were a good Centre rider without a minder, to catch you How about your opinion?

theres a trial sunday at thurlestone quarry and I haven't rode there before. ive been trying to find out what the access is like to the venue but had no look. on google maps the road up passed the houses from the bottom looks quite tight and narrow. is this the case or is it fairly wide? the reason for asking my dads not got a cheap van yet for riding and as you will all know a lot of venues have terrible access. and I don't want him to drive up in his good van and not be able to get up there without any scratches. thanks

I have no connection to TTRG and would not presume to try to sway anyone's opinion on recently highlighted matters via this forum but understand that the SACU sent proposals to their clubs neary a fortnight ago. The gist of the proposals seems to do away with the current postcode lottery regarding licence costs. Does anyone know if SACU clubs have actually passed this info on to their members as the SACU seems to be desirous of getting opinion from as wide an audience as possible?
