Hi to all! Just a quickie I've been looking for a while now and to no avail have I been able to find anywhere that stocks the casual HEBO range. I've been on the HEBO website and you can see pics of the products but no prices are posted. Can anyone tell me where I need to be looking or contacting? Cheers! Steve

Hi folks The Sutton Falcons are based in the Ashfield area of Nottinghamshire with a main venue at Norwood at Teversal and others in neighbouring Derbyshire. The club run the national Rosebowl trial and have been in existence since at least 1920. Up until now the club have never had a presence on the web - check out our new website at www.suttonfalcons.com There's a photo competition - just for fun - send us your trials based photo (action, artistic or funny) Anyone wishing to join us are more than welcome - we need the support of our local riders. The website is a first effort by a complete novice. Are we in the right ballpark? Is it the type of site you will go …

From next year clubs in the UK will have to run trials under the world rules(stop and hop without penalty) or no-stop. What rules will your club be using and will it be a change to any national trials? Will the clubs moving to the new rules be using any timers in the sections? Our club, Sheffield and Hallamshire will be moving to full no stop.

  6. As many will know, this year the South Eastern Centre decided to go non stop for all of their championship rounds. Now that the season is over, I thought I would just write my view on how it went and what I learnt. When the decision was made, I must admit I was quite pleased. The reasons why I was looking forward to the change are two fold, and it is perhaps fair to say that these reasons are a bit selfish. Firstly, I have never been the best at hopping and so getting rid of this skill was one way I could try to keep up and have good rides without having to ride every weekend. Secondly, my life has got rather busier in the past few years, so to have less queuing and a ch…

Hi everyone, I live in Kent and would like to take my son away for for a 3 day trials weekend. We are both at advance novice/early intermediate level. We want to go somewhere within about a 100 miles ish. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. There must be someone out there who can point us in the right direction of a place to ride, or a friendly club!

Anyone got an actual date for the BVM test day? It's usually around this time of year (end of october/beginning of november) but I've not seen much mention of it? thanks

Just watched last years Domestic Trials Review DVD. Very good footage of a broad set of events. However the saddest thing was watching the "bonus" footage from the 90's! If ever anybody remarks about the 80's being a fashion minefield I think I'll show them this! And couldn't recognise half the riders as they are so young Still Martin Lampkin sounds the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to BVM and all the trials importers for putting on another excellent test day. This year the location was Nettleton Quarry near Birdlip and the course had been set out by Steve Saunders. Early on the ground was rock hard frozen but as the sun burnt through the clouds, the conditions turned a lot slippier offering a perfect set of conditions to try out al of the lastest machines. During the lunch break some of the sponsored riders put on a bit of a show, including a sidecar team who were getting up a step that I wouldn't even look at on my solo machine. Here's a couple of snaps (sorry for the poor quality) I'm sure there will be some better ones later on. Ale…

Seems that Ben will be riding a Beta this year. Did I miss an anouncement or has there not been one yet? Strange that he has left GAS GAS, Ben must be the UKs biggest hope for the future in my estimation.

National Colonial Trial - February 8th 2004 You will be pleased to know that the Colonial regs are ready for the off - not been posted just yet but will be out in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately we cannot email regs to anyone so if you would like a set then please email me with your postal address and i will see you lovely TC people get them as soon as they are out. The only thing i will say is that when you do get the regs don't hesitate with them, it is on a first come last away entry and we have had a lot of interest so we think it will fill up fast as in previous years - we are limited to 130 riders. Hope to see you all there. ELLIS@malton7.freeserve.c…

Can the Coc explain why the time limit was scrapped on Saturdys route Not sure why but I understand the time limit was scrapped on the Saturday? If this is the case what about the riders who rushed the sections or asked for a 5 so that they could finish within thier time limit. I also heard that some riders knew about the scrapping of the time limit during the trial. Was the a justifiable reason why the time limit was scrapped. As a Clerk of Course I was on the understanding that you DO NOT change or scrap time limits. This is drumed into you when attending the seminors at Rugby.

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone has got any recommendations for trials venues that involve rocky streams etc instead of the usual mud and slop that we have to ride though down here in the south, looking at traveling a bit further a field once things are back to normal! Cheers, Daniel
