Well had another fantastic day at the Scott the weather could not have been better for spectating, i was up bright and early trusty camera in hand and set off to take my customary 300 to 400 shots and all was going to plan i nearly got all of the riders through reels head which was a real stopper today and i only saw a few cleans with three's being the order of the day,and it was a quick dash over to whaw bridge to get some more shots, by this time john sunter was way in front and flying and its great to see a real local heading the field, well i got a lot pictures here of the riders and i was off again to my last section of the day and here is where it all went wrong for…

from an official press release: "Although Lampkin was delighted to taste the winner's champagne, his victory was slightly soured as he soon realised post event that his injured ankle had not faired well despite his extended period of rest and treatment prior to the competition. Dougie will return to the UK today to seek further and immediate treatment, but has effectively ruled himself out of this weekend's World famous Scott - time and observation trial in order to prevent additional damage to his injured joint. Speaking about his victory and his ongoing injury Lampkin stated. "Winning always feels good, especially when you have been struggling and fighting with a bik…

  12. Started by bigplonker,

Just spotted a 500 Norton trials on eBay. I could be wrong (as usual!) but I seem to remember it being advertised some time ago (by a genuine owner) and then exactly the same ad running again a bit later (by a completely different seller). I therefore assumed the latter ad to be placed by a scumbag scammer and informed eBay accordingly. Now, here's the same ad running again. If anyone's tempted to bid, do please tread carefully and make sure you're entirely happy with the seller's (somewhat dubious, I reckon) authenticity. Apologies to all concerned if my suspicions are entirely unjustified.

Hi all, first post so please be gentle with me I am starting my son off trial riding, he has had a couple of hours on a rented ttr90 (little yammy) to get him riding. I have bought him a gasgas 80, he's only riden it in the garden so far (on the look out for a trailer), but it seems quite big and heavy for him, although he can touch the floor and ride around the lawn no problem. He's 10 in december and of decent height. Should I have got him a smaller bike to start with him being a complete newb?? Also what are the rules for competeing, I think he'll be youth 'C' which I think is classed as 80cc, but no mention of wheel size? Sorry if all this has been asked before …

I have just been onto the trial website and discovered that the Old Kings Head has just down. Not sure how long the note has been on the website. If you are riding and have booked yourselves in there (like me) you will need to find somewhere else!!
