As a former patient of the Air Ambulance, can I urge you all to sign this e petition. Which is asking the government to return the v.a.t that the service pay on fuel. This would help the service carry on their excellent work. Hope the link works ok. https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/29349 Thank you

At Sunday's Trial, I was talking to another competitor about Observing and he said he Observes at the SSDT and has a great week out This struck a cord with me, as I've been thinking about it for a while at big Trials (which i'm not good enough to ride anymore) I'd like to Observe at big Trials like the Reeth 3 day, maybe the Scott and ultimately the SSDT, plus a few Nationals or BTC in the fullness of time I realise you have to start small, but how do you get into it? Is there any training, at Club level or ACU? How do you know when you're ready to do a big Trial? Obviously I don't want to get it wrong and this is the bit that scares me silly, because riders put a l…

The Stratford-Upon-Avon Club S3 Parts Colmore Cup trial, which is being run under TSR22b non stop rules is approaching a full entry despite still being a month away. If you are planning to enter this event, you should get you entry in as soon as possible. http://www.stratford-upon-avonmcc.org.uk/page4.html Pete

The three intrepid musketeers - namely Steve Forrest, Marcus Faulkner and yours truly have just returned from setting out the South Coast Group trial at Blacklands Farm. There is a fair bit of snow on the ground at the venue but the surrounding roads are clear so we should be all systems go for tomorrow. Those familiar with this venue will know that it features a rocky bedded stream and all the sections are plotted in and around the stream. There is snow and ice on the ground, so the sections have been laid out to take account of this and also the No-stop rules which are in place for this year. There will be no need for stopping and hopping tomorrow! 12 sections have b…

After a 7AM inspection the Trial is CANCELLED. All roads leading to the venue are iced up and there is no chance of being able to park. I cant even get off the drive! Bloody snow!

Apologies if Ive posted this in the wrong section, but does anybody know if the sunday trial is on or has it fallen victim to the snow ? It will save me getting up early if i know it is off. Can't get an answer from the club number. Gareth

Read in MCN (sorry), that the Nanny State are propsing to restrict 17 & 18 year olds to 125cc on the road, even if they pass a test. They can then take a test at 19 to get a restricted bhp licence ( ok for trials). My concern is for the current crop of youth riders, who are looking forward to riding the Scott, Scottish & proper road Nationals when they are 17. Does anybody have any more info on this situation?

So let's work out who is running what rules in 2012. Yorkshire Centre Trials Championship and Group TSR22B No-Stop Yorkshire Centre Clubs TSR22A Barnsley, Bradford, Horsforth, Huddersfield Falcons, Spen Valley and West Leeds. TSR22B Bumpy, Hillsborough, Richmond, Ripon, Stocksbridge, Wetherby and Yeadon Guiseley. Ilkley do not run Club Trials but did run to TSR22B in their Centre Events. So what is your club centre running??

So just been looking on Facebook and Steve Saunders has posted sating the no stop trial he was as yesterday was ridiculous, too hard, impossible to ride as no stop, confusing, off putting for kids who will ultimately be driven away from the sport. Nearly every response on there was slagging off no stop and wanting 'stop allowed' rules. Now I don't want to generalise (again) but most of the people of Facebook will be younger than 40 (I appreciate Steve is not below 40) which again tells you who is dictating the rules of our sport - old boys who cannot do or appreciate modern riding. It was (we are told) the importers who whole heartedly backed this rule change as a 'boo…

the method of marking for Centre and West Yorkshire Championship events will be TSR22b (No Stop) Centre and West Yorkshire Championshipn events will have to run a 50/50 coures. No Championship points awarded this was voted in by 14 votes to 9 at the centre AGM this week

Having "suffered" at the Indoor trial seats and spacing that would make Ryanair blush, I can only hope the Leeds Arena is better. My Legs and back have only just recovered from the "crush" that is Sheffield. Are Other's better than Sheffield???
