I tried to say thank you to as many as possible during the week but i'm sure I must have missed a few so I thought I would just post a quick thank you to all the organisers, observers, refuelers, radio presenters, Marshalls and behind the scenes workers for a fantastic week and if you good sort out the weather to be as good next year as it was this year that would be grand (well done slapshot for sorting out this year) thanks alot Allan Milligan Rider No: 66

What a fantastic result for Alexz Wigg. A rider from the south midland centre where there is not a natural rock for 100 miles taking the Scottish. I know the results have still got to be officially confirmed. It also makes my claim to fame of beating him once in a trial sound even better (I don't mention the fact that i was 22 and he was about 8 when I tell this story). Congrats to the rest of the Wigg team as well. Nice pictures of Alexz and Julian at the end. I am sure he is very proud. I couldn't get up to spectate for the first time in a few years ( which is probably why the weather has been good) but sounds like the organisers did a great job again and overcame som…

Seems Alexz pulled it off! I am proud for him! When all this goes round, the bikes may all be good, yet it is the riders that shine! Congrats kid! If Dabster croaks tomorrow, he will have a smile on his face! Now go kick some butt! I had a chance today to click on the Facebook thing, and Gizza had some nice pics up! I even had a chance to click on the Nevis Radio link, yet I fear it was too late, and what was on was not Big John! Bit not ! DJ sounded like Andy rambling, could not catch a word! Seems the girls put on a hard charge, with Becky at spot 90 with 261 dabs, Emma at spot 93 with 261 and Joanne at spot 95 with 274. All this and a bad day put Baldilocks just o…

Day 5 has been rough on Baldilocks, falling back a bit from Becky, and with Emma on his heels! Must make up a few points tomorrow, or he will be a girl sandwich! Looks like Jack is out! Come on Dougie! These kids are just too much! Even Jamie is doing well!

After reading Shirty's SSDT and Beta UK guide for SSDT preparation I thought I would add the over 50's ibruprofen guide to the SSDT. First off your not going to win, so stop dreaming thi old git we can watch the young tykes do that as were catching our wind after each group. Don't ever get off your bike if you can see both start and end cards, once you have walked to the top and back down again you'll not have the energy to start the bugger. Make sure you wear braces to keep thi breeches up, no bugger spectating wants to see an hairy old plumbers crack hanging over the back fender of a trials bike, it just turns them off trials. Pack chapstick and vaseline, …

Great going Alexz, Dabster is chuffed! Me too! Come on Browney! You can do it! Carlos has pulled away from Baldilocks, and Baldi has let Becky Cook get a slight advantage with only one point separating them. The mudwrestling competition between them awaits! Ishy is still lagging behind the rest of the girls, sniffing the perfume! Beer is good with the ibuprophen! Seems young Jack Challoner had a bad day, putting him out of the points race, while Vasey and P.A. have retired. Hope they are ok!

With a good clean day, seems Dougie has surpassed Baldilocks today, while Baldi(Glenn Quinn) still holds a marginal lead over Carlos Casas! Good job man! Seems Ishy is riding just a bit behind the lasses, Emma, Becky, and Katy, typical! P.A. is guarding the rear, yet had a much better day today! The kids, Browny, Alexz, Jack and such , are just HOT Stuff!

Some of us are still at work (but heading up tommorow ) and my day entailed seeing a couple of customers in Liverpool, so early start and on the M6 at 0630Hrs. At 0715Hrs we came to a grinding halt 5 miles before Junction 15..............and I was still there at 1100Hrs, I noted that the 3rd lane was now starting to move, I did what any Law abiding ''Van Driver'' would do and ''BARGE'' my way into that lane hoping to get off at 15 and head South. The plan worked as I made up the 5 miles in the next half hour off at 15 and back South 1145Hrs.....ish. While sitting there for several hours I wondered how many riders or spectators were in this gridlock heading up to the Pre…

Baldilocks, if Ishy finds this he'll try selling it back to you. http://www.trialscentral.com/classifieds/d...php?siteid=7635 What's anybody else found whilst out on the moors? I've a pair of pliers & a really nice pump, both were found in the middle of nowhere.

With the 2010 Scottish literally just days away, I've made a couple of changes to the TC forums. Firstly, I've split the normal SSDT forum out from the General forums and given it it's own category up top and more prominent for the duration of the Trial. Secondly, and this is pretty cool (if you're a geek like me ) you'll notice a seperate forum called "SSDT News Feed". We now have a little software "robot" watching the SSDT website. Whenever the organisers post an update to the SSDT website a new Topic will be created in the SSDT News Feed Forum with a summary of that update and a link that will take you to the full article on the SSDT site. Users will be able to pos…
