I've been really enjoying watching the daily video reports from the SSDT. I've noticed a common theme covering all of the sections shown: Gnarly rocks and plenty of water. As a matter of interest, are there any sections that aren't set in treacherous stream beds?

Hello Can anyone tell me where to get the thin yellow plastic that some company's use to make their number plates? I bought the complete kit from splatshop but the plate cracked the other week and I want to make a new one plus a few spares

Im taking my wife up to Ft William to watch some of this years event. However, shes a bit unsteady (has MS) so ideally need to know if she will be allowed to take a fold up chair to sit and watch? Anyone know if this will be ok? Cheers all.

Hi I have had my entry accepted through the ballot for this years six day. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what clothing is best to wear? Your help would be really helpful.

Having had his entry into the Ballot for the 2014 SSDT confirmed - Gary "Bingo" Bingley is to make a welcome return to the sport with his main aim being winning th ssdt 2014 over 50 award (as he's 50 in February). This will all be for charity -and he is starting his new fitness regime this weekend with some altitude training in the alps. Please give him all the encouragement we can and watch out for more details - He'll hopefully be back on a bike at the Cumberland Clubs New Years Day Trial. Thanks for now. Anyone 'in the know' tell us when they are due please? The website says second week of Jan (last week). I heard a rumour we would be emailed yesterday (14/01) but not seen anything!

Just come across a date clash with this years SSDT that may impact accomadation availability in and around Fort William. The British Downhill Mountain Bike championships are been held on the final saturday of SSDT week at Ben Nevis. They ll be a couple of hundred riders plus followers add in the spectators etc and B&B wise it might be a tight squeeze.. As old Fred Pontin used to say '' Book early!''
