Hold on everyone. The result guy is stuck in the middle of somewhere. A propane truck turned over and he has been sitting in traffic all night. The reuslts will be up as soon as possible. Normally the results are up right away year after year. A couple of times they have had short delays. The cell and wireless connection is no good where he has been sitting all night. I dont know all of the details but this all I have.

We've all seen Malcom Smith race in the movie and we saw the trials footage as well. Well now his son, Alexander, is continuing the motorcycling legend's ways by racing events like Red Bull's Romaniacs and yesterday he asked me to help him find a good used Montesa. Let's get Alexander on a trials bike. Please forward me any used Montesa you know about; ringomoto@yahoo.com Thanks Ringo

1.00 EUR = 1.54189 USD Our Current Economy aint good. I hear people arguing whether gas will be $4 or $5 per gallon by summer. Our governments solution is to borrow $2000 from China give it to me so i can send it to Spain for a new trials bike or parts. If the Xispa becomes successful who knows maybe i can return it to China. Michelin would probably think thats a good idea but i dont think it will work I dont think trials can be killed if things get too bad for me i can ride a 10 yr old bike and stay at home and it will be about the cheapest form of entertainment there is. But what about all the luxauries were used to world round, nationals, trips to…

Hi Gang, have been quite a bit here as of late, we have been tremendously busy in all areas of my life, and just have not taken the time to write and let others know what is going on. But I realize as I am speaking to folks here at the YN camp how important these communications are. For those of you that are not here too meet face to face, I cannot tell you enough how much you are missing. The YN truly brings out the things that are the best in Trials too me. We came in Sunday afternoon and have just been going a mile a minute since then. Sunday afternoon we had the ice cream social get together, I got to meet uncle Charlie and son Zach finally, saw the Commo's the …

Since we are starting to get some questions from people about the location already, I will post a few pieces of basic information to hold people over until the official information is out. Texana Ranch is near Blackwell, TX. Going to google maps and typing "texana ranch" into the search should find it. It is on Ross Rd. There are lots of RV hook ups on site. The information on how to reserve will be provided in the rider info when posted. We encourage people to bring their motorhomes/campers. There is not a whole lot of hotel choices. There is a local hotel in Bronte, TX (14 mi). The camp ground in Robert Lee (26 mi) has some rooms, and there are hotels in Sweetwater, T…

The topic of your favorite "section pal" came up at the ITS Mr. Bill awards dinner last Sat. night after the trial. Talking with Mark Oldar he mentioned two very large rattlesnakes had to be killed this week and he asked me about snake shot. I informed him that Snake shot is great, it's similar to birdshot! My favorite " section pal" is a 357 hammerless S+W stainless model. I carry two rounds of snake shot, then 3 rounds of 38 or 357 mag. The big rounds are for bigger wildlife than snakes. I doubt that even 357 would stop a Califorina brown bear that live in our local mountains but it makes me fell better. It should stop a mountain lion that appear once in a while, …

There has been a question if 250cc four strokes should be allowed to compete agaisnt 125cc two strokes in a US 125 Trials Championship? Similar to what we see in American Moto-cross competition where 250cc 4 strokes can compete in the 125 moto cross class! I suppose that the FIM has to be consulted on that question! Can a 250cc four stroke trials bike compete in the 125cc world trials championship? If they can then it only makes sense that in a US 125cc championship that we also allow bigger four strokes in the contest the championship. If it's not allowed by the FIM then we need to follow their lead and conform with international standards.

Also NATC MotoTrial site/blog can now be followed on facebook and twitter. Take a look, hope you like it! BTW, anyone complaining is automatically volunteered to do something about it! (serious!) Here is the url: http://mototrial.us/ Big thanks to Griff Wigley for an excellent new site and to Mike Codde for the fb page. Oh, we had an outdated US club directory that will not be continued. Try Google search. Take care! Brian

I will be putting on a large (our standards) regional event next year, I would like to include as many components of a "professional" event as I can. By professional, I mean, large, well run, established, impressive. It is just the best word I could think of. In your opinion, what gives an event that "look" or maybe "feel" I am thinking the large fireworks tent, banners of bike manufacturers and vendors, flagging and marking?????? Thoughts, comments or ideas?

One of my buddies here just recently brought up something in another forum topic regarding this issue. The requirement of these things by certain governments sort of boggles my mind! In my mind, these little screens are worthless little expensive pieses of junk, thankfully they are not required here! I am just not sure I am 100 percent comfortable with this logic, as even though my memory is short, I cannot recall any sparks being SPEWN FURTH by any bikes! I have seen FLAMES from the exhaust of some 4T bikes, not in trials, but never anything I can recall from a sooty 2T but smoke, and the little screens certainly will not prevent flames! Same in a backfire situation…

2007 AMA/NATC Senior 55 Champion Marvin Edgington and 2007 AMA/NATC Senior 60 Champion Dale Malasek were seen on the Lazy E Arena during round 2 of the AMA EnduroCross series. I caught a photo of them during the track walk. Let's have a little fun with a caption contest. Winner will receive a autographed copy, REVolution video from Pat or Smagical Adventure video from Phil. (Keep it clean)

Anyone here ride NETA that's open/interested in a new practice partner on occasion? I'm in a bit of a rut, and I think most of it is just down to not having anyone at or above my level to ride with outside of events. I ride Senior B, previously Sportsman, and am about ~1hr from Exeter in Wrentham.
