Trials guys turn it on. Night Show Main Event. 1st (Taddy) 2nd (Aaron) 6th (Colton) 11th (Smage) Phillip was third in the final corner of the big main and got hung up on the massive rock pile for about 10 seconds. That's how far he slipped for one boo-boo. Other photos. Geoff on the podium. Taddy crossing the finish line. And Phillip, Amber, Mich Lin and myself after the event. Big shout out to Lane Leavitt for all his support this weekend with Team Smage! Lane, I know you lurk, big guy. You are the best! Your three rules work. We had fun. We learned something. We earned championship points. And money!

Evel Knievel, the hard-living daredevil whose famous jumps over Greyhound buses, live sharks and Idaho's Snake River Canyon, which made him an international icon in the 1970s, died today. He was 69. I had a chance to meet Evel a few times, as he had family in Chicago. To say this man could party-hard is a understatement. Many are probably surprised he was even still alive. RIP Evel, you were one crazy dude.

Hope this get derailed shortly... From : Racer X website Proposed 100% Tax on European Motorcycles: AMA fights possible 100 percent tariffs on certain European motorcycles Dec 8 2008 12:15PM The AMA announced today that it has written to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative opposing a plan that could double the cost of some European motorcycles imported into the United States. The plan being considered by U.S. trade officials would impose a 100 percent import duty on more than 100 European goods -- including two engine displacement categories of motorcycles, 51cc to 250cc, and 251cc to 500cc. The federal measure is designed as retaliation to the 27-member…

Some of us may travel as much as 3000 miles to reach an event, so read this! A pretty simple plan to take the power back. I'm in. Read on....Subject: GAS WAR! Join the resistance!!!! I hear we are going to hit close to $3.00 a gallon by the summer. Want gasoline prices to come down? We need to take some intelligent, united action. Phillip Hollsworth, offered this good idea: This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas on a certain day" campaign that was going around last April or May! The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt" ourselves by refusing to buy gas. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a…

Preliminary reports of todays Cali national round indicate Pat Smage(Sherco) took the day with a resultant 12 points as compared to runner up Cody Webb(Beta) on 29. Looks as though the final podium position was hotly contested with Karl Davis Jr(Sherco) edging out Kieth Wineland(Gas Gas) 54 vs 55. Good job lads! Tomorrow is another day! Ride On!

US champ riders or pro's as they are called now. http://www.rypusa.com/ I have just seen the news, link above, Chris Florin, has moved to GG, and I'm trying to workout who is on what in the champ class for 05, Geoff GG Chris, GG, Cody Sherco, Bruce Sherco, Sean Sherco. Are Beta, Scorpa, Mont, Fielding any pro class riders this year ? Could I be U.S. number 6 ranked rider on a 157 Fantic . Ther must be a reason for 50% drop in the pro class from last year. Is it too expensive in both time and $ to compete in all the rounds. Are there too many rounds in a country this size. Should there be some insentives for the pro class riders, like no entry fees for anyone rid…

I'd like to point out the fantastic support that Southern Califorina Trials riders and clubs have given to our Youth Trials Team. Over $5000.00 dollars have been donated and raised to get Team Califorina out to the Youth nationals for 06. To date, this young team has won all 3 Trial De State national team titles! Beating every other state team in the nation. They have also won more individual age group national titles than any other team. Southern Califorina has put more effort into youth trials than anybody in the nation! Not only have the kids worked very hard but the parents and fellow club riders have been totally behind these amazing kids. A speical mention must…
