Youth Trials

I know there isn't much choice, but what's peoples views on the best of the tyres available for medium wheels?

The second round of the UEM youth/ladies trials championship is in Lazzate in Italy but where exactly is the start of the trial? We have booked a hotel near lake Como which is 20miles from Lazzate so we just hope the start is in that area.

Just been talking to the team out in Morella Spain for the first round of the Euro Youth Champs. Since they arrived on Thursday it has been virtually none stop TORRENTIAL RAIN! The start and paddock are by a river, with half the event the other side of the river, the river is now impassable so half the course has been lost, and the Civil Police have now arrived, and the whole Paddock and all its inhabitants, have to be moved to higher ground due to the risk of the river bursting it banks and flooding the Paddock!!!! I am thinking about letting my son (1st year B Class) have a go at an international event and I am told that there is a 'non-championship' class in the UEM Youth rounds. Is that right? What do you have to do to get an entry? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well done to all the GB lads and of course to Alexz Wigg in particular as he has done the business by winning his first WTC event. Haven't had a chance to get to talk to anyone over there but I am so pleased that he seems to be getting the terrific results that he promised to do in the first few rounds. Good stuff. Gubian down in 8th aswell, even better!

i am lucking to be buying a 125 and am wondering what would be the best bike for around 1500 pounds. i do not realy want a gasgas as many people have told me that they are unreliable and break very easily

there is a welsh youth championship isnt there? if so anybody got any advise on what to expect. cheers scott

Howdy I am looking at getting a 2nd hand bike for my 9 year old son. He has grown up around bikes, and has had a 50cc trail bike, which we will now sell. He is very keen on getting into trials riding, as we have a great scene here in Spain. I was going to get him an 80cc Gas Gas, but they seem pretty hard to find 2nd-hand. It was suggested today, by a local trials guy, that we get him a 125cc bike so he can grow into it. I would love some feedback from you all. Thanks.

Hi There i am just starting to look at getting into trials as a newbie and my ten year old son wants to get a bike as well. he has had an oset 16 but this has got too small or him but i do not know what to buy him next. we want to practise but but also do some club trials as well Do i go for an oset20 or do i go down the petrol engined route with a 50cc or 80cc geared or auto? he did ride a 65cc motocross bike and had an auto before that so i think he would be ok getting used to having a clutch please help all advice welcome as i do not have a clue on youth trials Thanks

got to buy an 80 for next year, so what do you guys consider to be the best of the bunch?

A question to all you parents out there. My 13yr old daughter is showing an interest in learning to ride a bike and getting into trials, but as she has never riden any kind of motorcycle before I am not sure what best to start her on. Although she is tall, she is not very heavy or strong, so I guess lighter and easy to start is important. main thoughts / questions: 1) Clearly one of the auto clutch bikes would be much easier for her to learn on, but are they too small for a tall 13yr old, and would she out grow it too quick? - which are the best auto options for her size and lack of skill? 2) Are TY80's already too small for a 13yr old, or too restricted in what they…

Hi, Im 15 and can win a novice now quite comfortably in AMCA. Im just wondering what i could ride to see where im at at the moment. Ive only been riding for 1 and a half years. I know a National is too much and i am now starting to ride clubman but this is against adult riders all the time.

I am looking to buy my son a used 125 I have a 315 montesa but only play on it and dont attend trials So I have no idea which 125 is good or any issues the various models have. Thinking of a bike of around 08 vintage my two choices seem to be Gas Gas or Sherco any insights ?? thanks
