What is reconed to be the best product to line a leaking steel fuel tank? I have soldered all the leaks and tested it under pressure. However, I suspect that it won't be too long before other leaks develop. Thanks in anticipation

I am off to the Lincolnshire Poachers trial at Wickenby Airfield in the morning and just Googled "Wickenby" to check where it is when I came across this poignant reminder of our recent history. Now just described with a few statistics this airfield is lost in our memory but with Remembrance Sunday just around the corner it seems fitting to remember all those lost in war to give us the freedoms we now enjoy.. ""300 wartime operations were flown from Wickenby with 160 Lancasters and 6 Wellingtons Lost. The memorial at Wickenby commemorates 1,080 aircrew who lost their lives flying from here. From September 1942 to September 1945, "12 Squadron Bomber Command" with …

Hi folks, I posted this earlier this week, but for some reason it was taken off. I had one response and would like to hear from others. I am looking to replace my Amal carb with a Mikuni on my 73 Ossa Explorer / MAR. Can anyone aim me in the right direction as far as what size and model, as well as what size main and pilot jets. Also I would like to hear from people that have done this, and how it changed the throttle response. Thanks

Hello guys, last year I've got a 1973 Explorer with a semi-seized engine. Managed to find another one that should be in working conditions but the owner doesn't know which model it's from. I tried putting the engine in, it looks the same when it comes to frame brackets but it doesn't fit... it's like it's slightly thicker than the stock one where the engine meets the frame in the swingarm/filter area. Also noticed the right side sprocket cover is different (longer)... any idea? Is it better to slightly file the engine bracket or the frame?

Looking at the todo trial classic site, and also in the video on zona trial, i notice one of the top twinshock riders is using an aprilia TXR mono converted to twinshock. I know its a mono because theres a few subtle differences from the t-shock frame and i have owned both models. Are the spanish now allowing converted mono's or is he pulling a cheeky one?

Does anyone here know if there is much of a trials following in Northern Ireland. I have someone travelling over every few weeks and with an empty van it would make sense to try and unearth some bikes to shift on this end?? Thanks in advance

I was lucky to purchase 2 Dalesmans at the weekend with a load of spares to go with them. First thing is; Along with the spares was a folder which has a Puch engine manual in it with full parts list and numbers, exploded diagrams and some other litarature. Second thing; one of the petrol tanks is the fibreglass tank/seat unit. How do you think this will cope with todays petrol? Trevor
