Classic Trials

Hi putting a pre 65 bike together and have an AJS Stormer alloy wheel and hub, can this be used! I have seen a few bikes with what looks like this setup or is there something else similar. Or what's the best setup to use, can't afford new alloy one's yet.

Good Day, Just starting a Villiers 6e 197cc rebuild. I haven't done bottom end on a Villiers before. Can anyone throw some light on separating crank? Will I need the services of an engine specialist? Will probably have more questions as the project advances. Thanks in advance.

12th & 13th sept. Can anybody who just rode the Nostalgia tell me how the Standard & Easy routes in the Cumberland compare with the Easy & Hard routes of Saturdays trial ? Also how big is the lap, and are they more straight forward sections ? Thanks Ross

Hi All Putting together a 8E trialer. Have obtained a two hole head however one of the holes is oversized. I always thought the decompressor was same size as standard plug. Anyone know if this is any use for my build, or simply use the standard head. Thanks in advance

I just bought a trial bike a Bultaco Sherpa 350 but I don't know what type of Bultaco it is? The tank is strange and if I compare with other tank from the opening is not in the center of the tank. I have the paper and the bike build is 1975. ON the last picture (yellow), what is this part? Thank you

I have been riding and restoring trials bike for the past 25 years. The riding has never been very serious...some sand...some drop-offs...some small ledges to climb up...some rocks, etc...Not climbing up freezing streams or anything like that...all older and smaller bikes...TLR 200, TY 175...etc... nothing modern. For the past three years I have been out of commission. I've had some medical issues including a prostate surgery and I'm in the middle of some procedures on my eyes. The day before yesterday I went out for a couple of shortish rides...in very warm weather I might say. I came home exhausted after probably 45 minutes of riding. Two days later I am still sore…

We have had to cancel the Goodwin Shield Pre-67 Trial planned for February 25th at Bagshot Test Track due to issues with the land agent. We will try to have the trial at a different venue later in the year. It is very frustrating to have the same land pulled twice in as many months.

OK I'm going to say it..AVGAS. Dirty word I know and I know Im doing a Clarkson and destroying the planet but a little bedtime reading of the ACU regs says its legal for competition? Hi, I'm looking for a TLR 200,but couldn't find the right bike at the right price. I have been offered a Seeley TL200E in good unrestored condition. How good or bad are this Seeley's in comparison with TLR's Ty's or later Twin Shock Fantic's? Jeff
