Was wondering if it's possible to replace the 2 piece rear brake M/Cyl on the 2010 Evo to the inbuilt reservoir M/Cyl from the >2015 bikes?

My throttle on my bike feels realy light almost no resistance at all. So my question is can you get a heavier spring to go in the carb. I have tried stretching the spring but didn't make much difference.

Just thought I would share. I am fitting a new disk and pads to my 2001. I would have rebuilt the caliper, but the supplier forgot to order it. When I pushed back the pistons, I noticed that there was seepage from the hose connecting the reservoir to the master cylinder. I believe that this was the main factor to 'loosing' my rear brake continually. The hose is most likely also the original, but it seems odd that there is no clip to pinch the hose onto the fitting.

Hi all, noticed the clutch cover gasket on my 2002 Rev3 250, is sticking out at the top, and leaking oil. I've got a new one, and am looking to replace it tommorow. I'm assuming the water pump has to come out first?..or does it come away with the rest of the clutch cover ..all in one piece?..(haven't looked that closely at it yet). If I do need to take out the water pump gubbings first..will I need to drain the system? ANY advice is welcome..'cause I'm not TOO good with the spanners ..Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi there. I bought a fork fork seal kit, retaining clip and dust seals for my 2012 Evo 125. They are for the 38mm paoili forks. Never fitted them as I don't need them yet. I'm selling the bike and buying a 2020 Evo 300. Will these seals fit the new bike or should I sell them with the old bike? I understand the 2020 has 38mm forks but not paoili.

New to me, beautiful restored bike. I need help checking the timing. TDC then counterclockwise until piston drops 3mm??? Stick something round through the fly wheel into the hole stator??? I believe it has all new rev3 ignition. It has an intermittent knock like detonation. I know it could be lots of things, but this is the easiest to check. Any better kick starters??? Its short and I need to get my girl to be able to kick it over. I have 50 years wrenching on everything. Thanks Jon

Curious about the correct spacer length for the left tube??? Done all the ajustment's and changed oil to 5wt,,still feels a bit too stiff. Wondering if the previous owner put in a longer spacer than should be. I'm a little guy and so was the original owner, but I can roll down a hill and stab the front brake,, with all my weight ,and they only compress about maybe 3inches. I back out all pressure and no pre-load,It just seems a bit too livley. Normal??? or should I cut a bit off the spacer or gain a few more pounds?? Thanks

Just wondering if anyone had modified or bought some aftermarket pegs to make the position on the bike a little further back? Ive got a 2000 REV 3 and someone has told me they pushed the pegs back a bit on the newer models.

I have problems with the gear shifter. I have a Rev 3 250, 2001. I can't shift gears only one at a time. So when I'm in 5th gear, and I reduce my speed significant, then I can't just shift twice down, and continue in 3th gear. It will remain in 4th, and I need to use the 4th gear for a couple of seconds until I can downshift another one and finally reach 3th gear. Shifting up shows the same problem. In a crash I hit the gear shifter, but I'm not sure that this is the cause of the problem. What should I do? What parts should I inspect/replace?

just getting back into this trials lark and have got hold of a 1998 techno. bike seems to run just fine but is a little noisy and i'm looking to repack/clean the rear box. i took off the rear cover but centre tube does not appear to be removable, is it just a matter of dragging out all the old packing and re-stuffing the box ? how tightly do i pack it ? is there any way of cleaning the centre tube as i am assuming this is some sort of baffle ? thanks
