Stolen Bikes

Stolen from locked house shed in Scarborough N.Yorks. Bikes chained together with Heavy Duty Oxford chain link locks Thatcham approved. Bikes removed still locked, carried as one. 2 helmets and 2 pairs of boots including a number of oil containers also taken. All other items in shed such as tools, cycles not touched. Targeted theft. Bike details: 2007 GAS GAS TXT 300 CC Red and Black. 2007 Sherco 250 CC Blue / Yellow with black frame and wheels. Very good reward offered. Information received in confidence. Today I found that the secure lock-up where I keep the bikes that won't fit in my garage, isn't. Sometime over the weekend, my girlfriend's 125 Sherco, and my Honda CRF250x, were stolen. The thieves destroyed a steel security door, and tried to cut the lock off the gate, eventually making their escape by cutting a section of chainlink fence when the lock defeated them. This was from Cuddington, Cheshire, a couple of miles from my house. The Sherco is an '05, and has a few distinguishing features, most obvious being a Kehin carb. The Honda is an '04, registration PN04 PZJ, with a full lighting kit and 40mm bar risers. Any info most gratefully recieved. Mark

last saturday night my lock up garage was broken into and both of my daughters' motorcycles were stolen, she is heartbroken. One is a pw80 the pink and white version and in mint condition and the other was a ty80 runner but tatty...... have frame no's if i get any leads. shame but they must of been a bit stupid because they left the more expensive B40 behind??? just lucky my gasser wasn't in there too! but they cut off four big security padlocks from each corner of the door and then broke it off the runners..... any suggestions to what i can do to the next one i get to keep the thieving scumbags out??? i have decided not to keep that one after that. thanks in advance for…

Hi all As of 12pm sunday, me and my brother lost our race and trials bikes. Four bikes in total were stolen and 2 cars (one brand new for my mums 60th birthday) very badly damaged. However due to what i can say is very good work by the local police authority we now have our bikes back, although now in a very different location. Seems the scum (i would use harsher language but I know minors read the forum) rang up about a motocross bike for sale advertised in papers and said they would come around. Further to my recent report of a stolen bike in W Yorks. be on the look out for a van (make unknown) with reg no. DF 54 MWO. This van was seen being loaded with a trials bike (probably mine) but the current owner is not registered with DVLA (surprise). The police are trying to trace the vehicle so contact them if you see it.

hi my dads garage was broken into wed17/12/14.my honda tlr 200 was taken its fitted with a fantic disc front end wes silencer and rockshocks .the back hub had the fins machined off fitted with a red tank cover not sure on frame number.also taken was a suzuki i dont know much about this as its not mine.been told the frame number wasnt showing as a mod had been done to the footrest.the house is in a dead end two cars spotted leaving the lane a maroon & silver vauxhaull.

(managed to actually take the wheel out of the R1 in a very bike like professional way - so they are bike savvy! and neat!). My 1997 Beta Techno 250 was just stolen from my place in Southampton. It was locked up but they somehow got it out. The bike is purple and grey with red fork lowers and gold fork stanchions. Very distinctive and not many around these days. Non standard parts include a purple sprocket, grey renthal grips and a new killswitch near the centre of the bars, not next to the lever. It has no front light and the kickstand is also missing. The bike also has no throttle cable because it had broken so it probably doesn't even start at the moment.
