Hi I need a LHS fork slider to get my Guanaco out on the sections, the Left Hand Side for bottom (slider) has cracked at the spindle clamp, anyone got a spare or fork leg or forks for sale please. Thanks Mark

After much neglect I've gotten back to my Jumbo 350 project bike. The previous owner was about 90% done with the restoration when he took ill and was unable to complete. It's missing the front brake lever and I'm not sure what kind of throttle and clutch levers are on it. Could someone please tell me what levers and throttle were originally used on this bike? I'm hoping they used the same Domino gear that was on the Fantics as they work well for me. If possible I'd like to stay original or at least period correct. Also regarding the secondary clutch lever under the tank (not sure what else to call it) is angled slightly off of 90 degrees. Should it lean towards, or a…

I have a Jumbo 350 with silver straight yokes. having seen pictures of Jumbos I see the most have Betor yokes as in the later TL320 from 1982 on. I did find a few pics where the same yoke are fitted as in my bike so should be origional ones. Has any one got any information about changes ? Cheers Ian

I have just finished a touch up of a total wreck and tried to roll start it today. It seems like the spark, which is healthy fires way too early. It just dead stop the engine from turning with a pffff sound. I mean a spark something like in the middle of the compression phase. The vertical line with a yellow dab of paint lines up with the cylinder when piston in TDC and the line is in the middle of the hole on the stator cover when I remove the plastic plug about where I figure the timing should be. I know nothing or very little of these bikes but I do think that the Bosch 12v 55w system with a flywheel facing outwards, and the stator in the cover is OEM? All …

Was wondering about any variations in SWM TL320s regarding the fitment of decompression devices. My Australian 1982 model has one fitted and another I'm buying does not. In the 1982 Australasian Dirt Bike magazine it has one fitted. And the 1980 or 81 model article in Trail and Track [now defunct] has it fitted as well. Also anybody got some ideas on where to source pistons and ring kits for the 280 cc?

I have a Moto Gori 125, bored out to 175cc - i have been told, though not done any measurements...... Please can anyone confirm the correct amount of engine oil i need, the rotax unit is a big lump & would imagine would need a fair bit. Only rode a couple of trials on it - if anyone is interested, bike could also be for sale. thanks

Help ! Just got our new/old SWM 320 running but the clutch seems to be disengaged normally and engages when the clutch is pulled in. What's going on ? I can cope with the heavy operation but it is tricky to ride with that configuration !

Just put new points and condensor on now the bike now it won`t start. I am getting a good spark but all i get is an occasional backfire from the bike. Anybody got any ideas why it won`t start ?

Trying to get my bike working again. (Stolen / recovered) An air cooled Aprilia with Rotax engine. The flywheel has been spinning on the shaft after the woodruff key sherred. I think the crankshaft is ok, but the taper on the flywheel has suffered, question is does the keyway start from nothing, or has it been worn away by the crankshaft ? Anybody out there want to sell a flywheel, if required ? The wiring has all been pulled out but shouldnt be to difficult to reinstate. I've got the engine out, head off, but the barrel wont move. I’ve finally found the time to start working on the SWM 350 Jumbo I picked up last spring. The previous owner had installed an electronic ignition that failed on him, so he reverted back to the stock point ignition. I reached out to the manufacturer (Rex’s Speed Shop in the UK), sent them the unit for testing, and, sure enough, the electronic ignition module was dead (which, according to them, never happens!!!). I got a replacement ($$), installed it, and got it all set up. The installation is pretty straightforward—you just need the right flywheel puller (which, of course, I didn’t have! 😒). Well just when you think you have done everything correctly during a strip down to help with the rebuild fate throws a spanner in the works.....like knocking over my temporary storage bench whilst parts are drying AND deleting strip down photos...doh! I now have all the front and rear axle assembly parts all mixed up, I can seperate most of the parts (most!) and but their 'as built' order is also hopelessly lost. Would anyone have a drawing/ photo of front and rear axle assemblies? Many thanks

About 20% into my Jumbo 350 project when I bought someone else's 85% finished project. I'll finish it first and then eventually get to the original one. Unfortunately I must have mistakenly deleted all my tear down photos and will probably be poking in occasionally with questions. I looked all over the web but can't find a pic of the skid plate rear mount. I got a new plate from Martin which would crash into the engine case unless there are spacers between the rear mount and the plate. I'm figuring about 12mm of space is needed. Is this right? Am I missing something? Any help w Thanks in advance

Can anyone help me with the dimensions and shape of the pivot bracket for the propstand off a 320TL. I am about to strip the paint from the frame and swinging arm and I thought that I could replace the bracket that was missing when I purchased the bike. Judging by the weld that's left it looks like it was 35mm long and 5 or 6 mm wide where it fits onto the swinging arm. I haven't been able to take a photo of it but will add one if I get the chance. Well I couldn't remember when I removing the clutch basket this morning if the nut was RHT or LHT, googling didn't help and as the basket revolved clockwise I thought well it would be LHT....wouldn't it? But before I got my windy (well main'sy) on the bugger and had an exploding first motion shaft (or would that be input shaft?) I thought I'd better get on the blower to the font of everything 'Speedy Working Motor', his Holyness and the Right Reverend Mr Matthews. I have had a little extra time lately and been finishing up some projects. I’ve had a 1980 SWM TL320 basket case for a few years now. The engine is done with all new bearings, seals and a lot of other new parts. I’m in the process of putting the engine back in and I’m having trouble getting the swingarm to fit. I did install new swingarm bushings. Any tricks or advice on getting it to fit? I didn’t work on it for too long today and I have to go into work tomorrow but should be back on it Thursday. I also have a new seat cover to install and could use some advice putting that on. What glue do you use and and tricks stretching on the seat base? Thanks
