Even though I can't be in Flint the upcoming weekend, I wish the Bent Fenders club good weather (I'm trying to keep the rain on this side of the pond...) and a lot of fun for setting up the event! Oh, and if you need another checker, maybe we can do something like online-checking... webcam and I'll check from Europe just kidding, but I wish all of you an awesome weekend!!

I was told the Rose City event will be expanding the riding grounds from last year. Last years event was great! The riding grounds are unlike any other event in MOTA's circuit and the club took advantage of laying out very nice sections (off-camber, side hills, river-beds) "old school" style. With the high gas prices the two day event is nice. Now, I just have to talk my knee into it. Can we arrive Friday evening with trailers?

Just a quick reminder 3D trials club annual picnic and ride.Saturday and sunday August 9&10 Oneonta,N.Y..There wiill be a bicycle trials saturday afternoon,followed by some kind of motorcycle special test.This is usually some kind of timed race and break the balloon at the end to stop the clock always a lot of fun.There will be lots of food,entertainment and the pool will be open.So come on out and have a good time!!!Hope to see all are club members for this one.JR

MOTA (Michigan-Ontario Trials Association) next event is being put on by the Bent Fenders club May 3rd. Bent Fender trials info. The club property is a bit on the small side, but this makes it VERY spectator Friendly. We also try our best to utilize what land we have to make a loop that reduces lines.

Great Lakes members, Thanks for a great event. The sections were challenging but fun and I had great time riding them. You guy's really put the effort in and it shows. I can't really single out a favorite section, but the water sections and the long rocky uphill double were like the old school sections of long ago and it's nice to see them used again. The staircase was also fun to ride. (Once I found all the markers. Thanks Lester!!) I had a blast going over big exit rock in Rusty's section. All in all really nice sections and a fun event. Congratulations to Steve Widman for a most excellent ride in SR with only 10 points! Nice ride Steve. - Don

The Central regionals starts this weekend with the 35th annual Quarry Cup at Trenton Mo. I have heard that it is the longest existing 2 day in the U.S. 35 yrs straight without a miss Does anyone know any different? Ive attended in 1978 2005 2006 2007 and now 2008. A real good event and in what i think is a very nice a nice gesture they are giving a $25 per vehicle rebate to all out of towners. It doesnt cover all the extra gas cost but it helps, thanks MATT guys. This event in recent years has aways recieved rain but this year forecast is sunny and 20 percent. The Mid-East Regional's 3rd leg will be held this week-end September 20th & 21st. At Stoney Lonesome MC in Columbus, Indiana. Go to www.trialsinc.org for more information, and up to date results. There will be concessions, indoor restrooms, & hot showers. The weather forecast is sunny and lower 70's, ideal trials weather. See you there. JIm Watson TI President. ITSA's North American Championship rounds 5 and 6 will be held September 26 and 27 at B&J Racing's facilities in Dickson Tn. Mid-west and Southeast regional series points will also be paid. The event will be utilizing the ITSA Scottish section design(no splits, you ride the sections designed for your machine and ability level). The crew has 50 sections laid out for your trials pleasure. Riders are treated to 10 sections per loop and ride 3 loops per day. You will ride different sections each day. Camping is available and there are plenty of local motels. This is a twinshock event and classes are available for all machines from specials to heavy weight pre-65 machi…
