Is there any chance that a vintage line could be added in the MOTA rounds for the 2010 season? Looks like we have at least 5 twinshock/vintage bikes that I regularly see at events and this seems like enough for a class. I think that you just use the novice line and put nov or vin on the plate and score them against each other.

As I understand it we are getting to ride on the other side of the property for this one! Who will be the last place expert????? Will Mike come out of hunting season to beat me???? Will Biff come in costume??? (you bet your a$$) Will it snow? Can Brockaway figure out a way to not use those roley poley rocks??? Can zippy go a whole loop with out texting his wife? Can we get Cap and Keener to move up? Will I break another shift lever? Will Mitchell bend his knees? Will my exhaust catch on fire? (probably) So many questions. Only time will tell... Come on out to Vermontville and check out all of the suspense and action!!!!! Season closer!!!! Very easy loop for those who …

Nationals are coming up this weekend in Duluth Aug 22-23. Any tips from the local club putting the event on?? How is the river water level? Low / high? I suppose we should take time to seal up our flywheel covers good. Where are the good places in the area to eat and have a drink to clear the throat after riding? Any other tips or info would be great to here. 5 of us are leaving from Michigan on Wed after work.

Well, I thought I'd throw something up regarding the Ute Cup in Colorado last weekend. A wonderful event in the beautiful San Isabel Mountains and the RMTA people did a fantastic job, as usual. 20+ mile loops and 20 sections per loop (2 loops per day) and the weather was very cooperative. The sections were rideable by a good Intermediate (I would have ridden all the sections I saw with no problem) and several riders came in with clean cards. I checked sections with Ed Peacock each day and we saw many smiles on the riders faces who came through. Everybody had a good time and I'm really looking forward to the 2011 Ute Cup at Del Norte next year! The altitude was 8400 at t…

MOTA (Michigan-Ontario Trials Association) next event is being put on by the Bent Fenders club May 3rd. Bent Fender trials info. The club property is a bit on the small side, but this makes it VERY spectator Friendly. We also try our best to utilize what land we have to make a loop that reduces lines.

May 16th this summer will be our first Bent Fenders trials of 2010. We have a lot to live upto to tie the Michiana event but we are really excited about trying an actuall vintage class. We will have a vintage A and vintage b class with a first place trophy for each. Vintage A will ride INT and vintage b will ride Nov. We also have a beginer class in Mota so this wont be a cake walk but we are determined to keep every metal tank orginal and every rider out of an ambulance. What is vintage you ask. We are calling that anything before built before 1990. Thats a huge range of bikes mono shock included. As always this is a party so try to stick around afterwards for some good…

Just thought I'd share a couple pics of what to expect for those coming to the 1st ever AMA/NATC national in Kansas, this May 31st/June 1st. For those that don't know, Kansas isn't completely flat! Ark Valley Trials Association has done a great job preparing for this event. These pics were taken before clearing limbs and leaves, but now most of the areas are ready for ribbon! Check out www.avtatrials.com for more info. There's some pretty cool club history tid-bits on the website too, including info on NATC hall of famer Bill Grapevine. Here's an old video showcasing our 1st time riding the the area back in 2009: <ifr…

Did I miss something? I haven't seen a place in Trials Central for posting US events and results. Just wondering if there is enough interest to create a separate calender or topic for US based clubs and organizations to post events and results?

So all of that snow is gone! If it isn't well thats good too because we have a place for you!!! You should get some inspiration. Get off your couch! Get on your bike! More importantly get out there and compete. For the past five or so years some of the best clubs in the upper mid west have been riding together. MOTA and Trials Inc have been combining one event into both of their series. Its very common to have over 100 riders each of the two days. Now I know that those of you in Europe scoff at that but in America its a bit of a home comming that we all enjoy. This weekend in Ligioneer Indiana will be the first and second MOTA event along with the fourth and fifth Trial…

Just thought I'd post a video of a potentially new area for our club here in SE Kansas. Hopefully we'll be hosting an event here in '10. The video barely represents the amount of obstacles this 200+ acre land contains. A truly amazing place, big thanks to Ron and Leah for being such gracious hosts and letting us ride. (sorry for the shakiness, a bit of arm pump)
