Hi all recently acquired an old bike from what i can find out its an old gt with the upside down front end. Been looking everywhere online for a workshop manual as its in boxes of bits so its a project while we on lockdown. Does anyone have a workshop manual or pdf? There must be one somewhere or do i just have to guess where everything goes?

okay, I'm wondering how much is involved with replacing the fork seals on my 1994 gas gas JT 250. I believe the forks are paioli's. I'm quite handy, so I dont mind undertaking a project. Any and all help would be great. Thanks!

  4. The above Ducati ignition fitted to the 04-07 250 and other capacity bikes is obsolete… anyone replaced theirs fairly recently and have any recommendations on what to do / which parts? I have seen so far… Trials Bike Breakers UK have a full Hidira kit (inc flywheel) Hell Team (Oz) have CDI and Rectifier plus full kit options Full kit on a couple of other websites I am going to keep looking for other options… nothing on Ali Express… confirmed obsolete by John Shirt Motorcycles (Gas Gas UK). Replacement costs seem to be either an arm/leg for the rectifier and CDI, or an arm and a leg for the full kit… full kit really not in the budget fo…

Just wondering if you guys might be able to help...basically my friend has TXT 280 Pro and he had to have a new coil fitted, when he went to pick the bike up from the shop they had the bike running but they were unable to get everything fitted back in so that the tank could sit flush, he waited for a couple of hours and still no joy so he thought he would be able to sort it himself and took the bike home. Long and short of it is, the bike has sat since and had no joy fitting the stuff back in. I was hoping that one of you guys might have a similar bike and could take a close up pic of underneath tank or a good description of how to refit everything so that we can try an…

I know this has been done a million times before but I cannot find any post's with a definitive answer just loads of arguing lol Doe's anyone have the Standard jetting/fuel screw/Float height settings for the Pro dellorto? Basically I bought my bike from a mate who's wallet listened to his mates more than his brain He was convinced that putting a Kehin on it would make him a better rider! I bought the bike off him rode it once and it felt and sounded lean as hell to me, with the bike came the original dellorto carb which I put on last night and tried, he swore the dellorto had not been touched but I had a packet of jets which makes me think he might of had a twiddle w…

My son and I inadvertently loosened the clutch lever master cylinder and lost oil - How do we most easily replace this oil and what oil is recommended for the 2004 80 TXT? Also the issue has arisen as we were attempting to adjust the positioning of the lever as the clutch cable hits the bend in the handlebar if we adjust it inwards towards the centre of the bars. Hence we adjusted the wrong part to attempt to re-align the cable/oil run to the lever. So also wondering whether it is possible to adjust this line, so that it routes past the handlebar bend? Hope that makes sense and somebody can help advise best solutions? Many thanks Martin

Hi, my rear shock started to make a noise, the other day, when I was out riding, the bike is a 2013 txt pro, I had a look at it and found it had a crack at the bottom of the shock, where it connects to the bike, I can't seem to find anywhere online that does spare parts for them or even an online shop that sells them, any help would be great.

Why does Jitsie still include the wrong bolts in the link guard kit? GasGas has been using countersunk bolts at the back of the skid plate for I don't know how long, but they still include standard bolts.

Just been looking at the bars on Adam Raga's gasgas, do these come standard with the 04? I have also tried to find some, and I found a pair like it, but I'm unsure if they are the exact make. With the handlebars I found you must have specialised clamps for them. For an idea of what there like they do not have a crossbrace and are a black colour and of a big thickness, does anyone have these bars also?

Hello, I’ve recently acquired a GasGas 280 pro 2004. The bike has been dry stored for for several years, so needs some engine work which is beyond my spanner skills. Could anyone recommend a mechanic in the West Yorkshire area? Many thanks Paul.

I went to put the carb back on and noticed it wouldn’t properly attached to the air box and now the bike isles perfect but when I give it throttle fast it bogs. Is this because there is too much air getting to the carb as the air box won’t attach or do I am have another problem

Ive been playing on my brothers 04 Raga rep (Nice 1st modern trials bike ) And its so easy to do stoppies on it, i have an 05 280 and its not as easy on mine, The front forks seem to dampen too much and the rear shocker seems to too (in my novice opinion), and i think the fluid needs changing in my front brake. -- now is it easier on the raga because of the ohlins shocker on the rear ? and some change in the front ??? -- can i make mine more like it by: - Bleeding the front brake to change the fluid - Change the fork oil ( using less oil?? suggestions?) -- OR ADJUST THE REBOUND OR COMPRESSION ?? - reducing the adsorbtion on the rear,.... .... or it aint gunna ha…
