I have a recently restored model 116 and the lights have worked until last week. I am not very good with the electrical parts and would ask for a place to start to diagnose the problems. It has a lighting coil, Femsa points stock ignition, and four wires coming off the magneto/ignition. The wire colors are black, yellow, green and red. Any assistance is appreciated, but please type slowly as I am not good with the electrical..........😁

Hi all I have the dreaded chrome drums on my 199b and need to fit some cast inserts, are there some available or is it a case of making some out of cast pipe ect.

Now have a model 150 Sherpa as a project bike sitting in the garage. Used to own it back in the 80's and enjoyed it as a machine. Will get some pictures up soon but it needs a lot so it may take a while to put back together. The list of parts is long and the bike will never be a 5 star machine again, rather the bike is for using and will be made to work well, not look like it left the factory yesterday. The big bits it needs are: Conrod/big end replacement. Magneto flywheel is missing. Exaust is missing. Front wheel is missing. Hi, I got a project starting soon to rebuild my old Sherpa T, it's in bits and is missing the exhaust and seat (possibly more) and the engine needs bigends done. Are parts available for these bikes any more? Cheers.

Hello togehter, I am on the way to buy a model 10 for restauration. The bike is mostly disassembled. On which parts can I identify if it is an early series 1 or the second version. Thanks Carsten

Just putting engine back together and found this spring in the parts box,can't seem to find a home for it.🤔

Looking for some help. 1971 Bultaco Matador SD 250 wouldn't start. I got 130 psi compression with new crank seals, piston rings and cylinder honed. Got fuel and spark as well. Been messing with timing trying to get it to start but it shows no signs of life. Any ideas are much appreciated.

is there a factory set for float height on m y 76 350 Sherpa , at the moment it is reluctent to start , takes 3 /4 kicks with choke on all jets pilot /main are clean , passage ways are clear , fuel filter is new , needle is set in the middle groove ,pilot is screwed out 1 1/2 turn once it starts it runs normally right through the rev range ,

I just got this bike and didn't notice the chatter the first week. Now I notice it alot. The kick-starter seems to chatter all the time. When I press lightly on the top it will stop. I tried to move it forward a bit, but it did not help. I couldn't find anything in the forums or on line? Any suggestions to why? Do I just have to put up with it while I ride? Thanks for any help.

hi help with bultaco Sherpa 350t 151 model can any one tell me how many cc of oil for gear box and what oil is best how many cc of oil primary drive and what oil is best and also how much oil for fork legs and whats best sorry for questions its my first bultaco I was a ty man before many thanks

I have recently acquired a model 10 engine that seems to have the wrong clutch or counterweight, this is causing a problem because the sprockets don't line up for the primary chain. I think that the problem is with the counterweight, as i think the clutch is correct. It is located on its shaft with a woodruff key, but not 100% sure. If any model 10 experts could chip in it would be appreciated.

I am installing a Gemo light, as original, on a second gen model 92. The Gemo light will have wires coming out under the rear mud guard and routed forward to power. I can see a wire harness exiting the rear guard just forward of the fender mount screw left side in a variety of pics of this era. My question is what mounts are used to secure the wire harness to the curvature of the mud guard?

Hi all, I have just purchased a bit of a bitsa Bultaco Pursang that i am going to restore. The motor in it is a 173 prefix (JM-17300036) and when i search on the Cemoto reference page it comes up as a 'MOTOR TRANS TRACK 350'. https://cemoto.tripod.com/bultaco.htm Can anyone tell me more about this motor - as in what model it was built for, what the JM stands for and why the slightly odd non-model specific referenece? Well after spending 2 years of my free time and spending several thousand $ my bultaco is gone forever ! I had just finished fixing the last leak and decided its time to get it registered. Went to the DMV and filled out the paperwork, the next thing I know the CHP is giving me a long talk about where I got the bike and loading it up in a tow truck. as you might have guessed it had been stolen. My advice is be very careful when buying on Facebook marketplace! All the new parts on the bike should stay with me, but I had no choice. At least my daughter had a chance to ride it...

I need tech advice or knowledge to find if Alpina tank and seat will fit onto a model 92 Sherpa T trials bike for trail riding. I saw an article about Sherpa Himalaya and I believe it states that the 1973 team used Sherpa model 125 and fitted Alpina tank/seat.

I'd be grateful for advice please on what pullers/special tools are needed to replace the crank seals on a 1978 Bultaco 199a.
