Just a word of warning, got a pair of askew trials boots less than a year ago and all the sticking has dissintergrated, and sone of the thin leather has torn, they are pretty much useless. It may be an isolated case but the old saying goes you get what you pay for.

Hi - I am looking to purchase some trials pants but there is no supplier within many hours drive so I want to buy online. But there is b.all information available on fitting and since I am 5' 8" (173cm) and 12.5 stone (80kgs) with waist 34-36" this can be an issue. Normal jeans are not a problem just take them up but these shaped pants look ridiculous. I have a pair of Fox MX pants and had to cut so much off the leg the knee pads are near my ankles. It appears most sports clothes are designed for young people with no waste and long legs. Someone must design for a more average size. I am not keen on the skin tight look - I want functional and comfortable. I like th…

Got some new boots yesterday after months of riding around in shot boots, as they weren't cheap I'm obviously trying to prolong the life of them by as much as possible. Few questions for you! Best way to clean them? Fine brush and hosepipe alright? I guess I shouldnt use chemicals on them? Best way to dry insides without drying out the outer material? Aftercare - Dubbing all over, working as much into the stitching whilst still moist, yeah? Maybe best to do this before drying, then go over quickly after again? Donts; Guessing not to put them on or near the boiler or wood burner to dry? No chemicals? Dont leave mud on there when possible, our mud is peaty acidic cra…

My second pair of Gaernes have bit the dust and fancy trying a pair of Stylmartins. Just wondered if anyone could offer advice on how the Stylmartins size up? For what it's worth I wear a 45 in Gaernes. I would prefer to go and try some on but it's a fair old round trip to a dealer, so generally works out cheaper to take an educated punt and risk the postage costs of a return... Thanks in advance

Hi peps. I am on the look out for some hard wearing waterproof trousers. The only ones i can find online have armour and padding which I don't want. I just want a pair of heavy duty trousers. I have a trial coming up with a fair bit of green laning and road miles between sections so a good pair of trousers are a must.
