i bought today some jitsie knee and shin guards , does anyone else use similar things to stop basing your knees on rocks ?

Looking for a retro style helmet to match my Montesa Cota 247. Something new and modern technology aspect but retro in look. Any suggestions?

so what's the overall thought of the newish idea of drop down visors on trials helmets 🤔

ok i have seen a few wulf trials helmet's around and seeing as im just about to have a go at trials riding what do you guys think of them overall ?

Hi all, as we spend some time doing trials the mx clothing is getting uncomfortable. But beeing middle age, protection is also wishfully. So I am looking for trousers that are comfortable and are suitable with decent knee pads, or are there pants with kneepads built in ? Where we live are not really shops that have some clothing, the sport is pretty small over here. I'm a bit afraid to order tight trousers, my legs barely fit in normal jeans while the waist is not large. (Cyclist)

Long time no posts… I finally got round to buying a new lid, can’t find the old post I started but just wanted to share that I bought an Airoh TTR-S (convert red, white & blue 🇬🇧) and it is indeed very well vented. My first Airoh, tidy lid. Stacks up ok along side the Arai and 6D lids in the fleet. Cheers for the pointers.

Anyone know what forma boots like at breaking in and stretching? Bought a 43 & 44 in the boulders and don’t know if I need to break one pair or wear thicker socks for the other… one’s a bit big and the other a bit tight round the instep, my feet appear to be half a size in between. 😐

Hi all. Enduro rider giving trials a go. I have large calves and can't find boots to fit. I'm a size 9 shoe, so a 10 boot. Just tried Gaerne Pro Balance, size 10 and 11(UK sizes) can't close the boots. I can get the straps closed, but theres the gap between the buckle side and strap side. Also very tight around the top with on half the velcro on. I'm not competing, just social play riding. Any ankle high boots I could use? Any recommendations welcomes. Thanks.

Hi there. I've worn a donjoy armour knee brace on my left leg following a trials crash ten years ago leading to me having ACL and MCL reconstruction. The brace is very effective at protecting ligaments but doesn't protect my knee cap or shin area. You can buy an add on guard which would do this but they are expensive and would still leave my right leg totally unprotected. I recently planted my right knee and tibia on a rock and luckily escaped with mild swelling and bruising but it made me think about further protection. I don't want to be on an operating table again. Hi all, could anyone help with adult trials clothing sizes? Iv seen it says 6 but there is no were I can find that will tell me the measurements of this, does anyone know please and could give me measurements of the top and bottoms? Everywhere iv looked for sizing charts are just the normal s/m/l/xl......... 🙈 Help please!! Thank you!

I am considering buying new trials boots. About a year ago I bought new garne boots however they are uncomfortable. I have extra high arch and pretty wide feet. my question is : which boot would be the most comfortable , is there a certain women’s brand or does it not matter. I was considering hebo

I've got a pair of Sidi Trial Zero's that have seen one re-sole and are coming due for their second. The uppers are still going strong but the soles wear through at the pegs far too quickly as far as I'm concerned so I'm not going to put on another pair of Sidi soles. Does anyone have any feedback about durability of Forma or Gaerne soles? My other option is to see about getting them soled with Vibram Boulder or Claw rubber - that's pretty tempting as you pretty much know what you're getting with Vibram soles!

im new to the sport and got my first trial coming up soon. at the moment I don't own a pair of trials or any other type of motorcycle boot. I asked the club chairman if a pair of hiking type ankle high boots would be ok and he quoted me this from the acu rule book, TSR.12 clothing must cover legs and body and it is recommended that arms should be covered.boots of approximately knee length made of leather, rubber or plastic must be worn. does this mean I will get away with my work wellies (neoprene and rubber) until I get round to buying a proper pair of boots ? thanks in advance

I'm looking to buy a MOTS stone 4 jacket but need some advice on sizing. The size guide on the MOTS website is clearly wrong as the measurements make no sense at all. I am guessing I am between a M and L. Does anyone have one that could advise on fitting? Your height/build etc and size you wear. Thanks

Are any knee guards/ pads available that provide good side protection for knees, both inside and outside? I have a bad habit of hitting both of those areas. EVS Option was the best I could find that wrapped a bit around the inside and outside but I'm limping around today from a hit to the inside of my knee when falling down in a rock pile. Any input or recommendations would be helpful I have seen some that look like socks with foam but they don't look to have any kind of hard plastic shell. How do they survive sharp rocks? Just putting this out there. I have one of the Ritratto fleece material jerseys that were the official Beta items. It's great for cooler weather. Is there anything similar made by any of the manufacturers. All they talk about in their ads is breathable polyester. Personally if I could find a stock of these old Beta jerseys I'd snap 'em up.

Having chunky biceps has put me in a bit of a head spin as to what's best and sizing. I have searched the posts on here going back as far as 2014 trying to find a pair that'll fit the bill. My biceps are 35.5cm relaxed, and that's measured 5cm up from my inner elbow. Who makes elbow guards that fit the bigger arms? I've heard many good reports about Jitsie elbow guards, but fear they won't stretch enough for my biceps or forearm. Their sizing chart rates them stretched at what my arms are relaxed. My 16 year old Hebo boots are pretty much toast. I traditionally wore Sidis for MX and Enduro, so thought I might try the Zero 2. Actual user reviews are non-existent. Can anyone weigh in? How do they compare to other boots you've owned? I normally wear 43's, but my Hebo's are 42's. I prefer a tight fit for trials... how is the Sidi sizing? Any issues? Thanks, Ward
