Vertigo

  1. Started by danbillam,

my brother has just bought a 16 ice hell. we was swapping the master cyclinder covers over to some nice red csp ones earlier and noticed the clutch master cyclinder was completely empty of fluid. which seems weird as it worked when I test rode it a few days ago. I'm presuming it will need bleeding rather than just topping up as its completely empty up top. and how are these bled? there isn't a nipple near the casing where the hose is like on my beta. thanks

Riding the other day I found the clutch lever would stop before the handgrip . Still engaging and disengaging correctly I tried adjusting lever but it had shorter stroke . Cheers to mototrials west whom said check the through bolt at the centre of the clutch basket . It had wound itself out , once I chased the bolt threads it went back in and all works correctly again . Bonus is it’s a reusable gasket on the case . A small side note this is the first issue I have encountered on this 2017 vertigo 250 I bought new

Hi, the clutch on my vertigo combat is very firm/stiff so makes it difficult to use clutch control. Someone mentioned the springs need to be reduced in size, or lube the cable ? Any ideas on please ?

Doing larger job, so many questions. While connecting coolant hoses I got confused of the flow direction. If the arrow on the pump is right the flow is opposite to the thermosyphon principal. Anybody haves an idea why they have done this ?

Hi, After having gone through the whole forum (if memory serves), and exhausted other channels, I have two questions regarding a 2020 250 Vertical: 1: how does a person determine the correct fill level for the coolant? 2: does anyone have a chart of ambient temperature versus ohms resistance for the sensor mounted to the air box? Thanks for all replies S.

  9. Hi. The Vertigo user lives in South Korea. This time, I'm trying to buy a 9v high battery, so I don't have much in South Korea. It takes a long time to purchase from Ali Express. So I made a 9v replacement battery with aaa rechargeable batter. the charge is good, up to 9vIf

Looks like that's what Dougie is doing so firstly what would be the best features? What I see as necessary are a Stiff frame Fairly Compact with a 4 to 5 litre tank. The current JTG rear suspension seems superior to everybody else's and Forks will remain forks. Wheels need to have "give" in them so the current metal spoked seem to be preferable. Could Magura style reservoir less Disc brakes be used? they could be a weight and maintenance saver if the required power can be obtained? Electronics and Air filters need to be tidily packaged, easily accessed and kept away from Water. Too many bikes have cables everywhere as well so it needs thought as to where to place the man…

Hello, I just registered since I am the new owner of a Fajardo vertigo replica 300. First of all forgive my English, I write from Spain with the help of a translator. My previous bike was a beta 300 2012, and the change to the new one has been great. Especially a great jump in brakes and suspensions. What has me a little annoying, are the continuous blows in the lower area of the bike, going through the same places that passed without problem with the beta with the vertigo hitting the basses. In a couple of days I already have enough rock marks all over the ground, and even one on the swingarm, which with the beta was much less usual. Do you als…

Hi all! There are rumors in Spain that the Vertigo engine will be used, mounted in a Scorpa frame, by one of the factory riders in the next Tres Dias de Trial de Santigosa. According to these rumors the engine is been developed by Francesc Moret and now by Dougie Lampkin.

Hi all , I have noticed my 2017 ice hell is getting louder , as with other bikes I have owned I would normally just repack the exhaust but to me it looks sealed and have just fell over with price of new one just shy of £600 . anybody else had this problem?? Any ideas ?

Hi, in the exploded view u can see part 12 and it seems to me that the piece with the nut is on the inside. On my bike it does not fit that way, only with the nut on the outside to get enough clearance for the brake lever. Anyone has an (2016) that can have a look ? Also there is a "powerbox" in the front under the air filter. According the drawings it is in a rubber grommet. I assume it is a bit confusing and must be the grommet of the ECU. So is the powerbox in a rubber grommet ?
