How are you lot that fitted the fat bar conversion to you 4rt's getting on good points?? bad points?? worth the money??

We in somerset (UK) prefer to break rocks with our heads its much cheaper than a trials bike to fix

I had read about the plugs fouling on this site before i got my 4rt so bought a couple of spare plugs that was about eight months ago and they are still in the packets they came in no problems with plugs or starting at all VIVA MONTESA

We down zummerzet calls it witches magic and runz off Wish my old sherco had been that easy to fix.

If you have free play in the throtle cable make sure nothing is stuck in the air box if the butterfly is held open it could be over fueling and the sensors stoping it fireing up

Sorry boys the kit did not sort mine most of the time the bike ran fine but every now and then forget it and go home the bike was rushed and it bit sherco in the ass

masso they did , have you tried an 06 monty? that seems to be the only real difference between the 05 06 models. as for no replies we were all in bed its nite time over here i have used putoline 75 weight oil and it works fine in my monty.only thing is sometimes it howels like the 315 used to but this just maybe cos i use it harder now . good luck

r2w you are right and wrong it does start easy but it will acctually pull my fat a*** quite rapidly I am now the prowd owner of a cab 50 (big bore kit on the way)

This topic has fired a few people up what we need is laser markers on the boundary lines then if a bike goes outsine the line it blows up.SORTED the observers decision is final i thought,if a few more people botherd to have a go maybe it would become more uniform with lots of well expreienced officials on a section disscussing the decision. but this is the real world and my final decision is GOOD ON YOU ALL OBSERVERS, i for one would take whatever decision you made and still thank you for you time on a sunday morning

That lovelly smell is caster oil I cant belive they run castrol r in the engine but they may do you can get your bike to smell like it by putting a tea spoon of castrol 747 in the petrol as upper cylinder lubricant. but it may oil your plug if you use to much (i used to do it to the scorpa 125 4t)that smelled lush. but its probably some super recipy honda race fuel that the team use

there is a bulldozer on the quantocks that has become part of the hillside that would start better than that bloody sherco,and be easier to sell,never mind live and learn as they say. got my enfeild out the other nite and it went first kick,and that has been under a blanket for a year.
