After reading in tmx this week about the exibition put on to celebrate 40 years of scotish six days photography, I was wondering if there where any plans to publish this collection as a book ????

I noticed you had an earlyer topic about coating you frame ??
did you do this ? if so check the earth points they may need some coating removed ??

I have heard of a bike with similar symptoms and it turned out to be the fuel pump,again only when the bike was hot?????

Dont know if you are sorted yet, but i got one of the mad phase 1.3 s from tarty bikes for 300 quid and am really pleased with it .The lads were really helpfull.
I cant ride it for toffie but its great fun
only a mechanical front disc but it works fine and you can allways upgrade.

Have they really cured the starting issues?
I have owned one of the scorpa, sherco, and finally the monty 4 bangers
The real issue with the sherco was hot start,the motor was fine,probably better than the monty from a fourstroke angle,but it would never start reliably.
The monts allways start that is why they are more poppular

Hi all have been out side in a shed at work for a year and not had a computer port
Is anyone manufacturing a reasonably priced flat tank for the 4rt yet ?
i would love one but they are so much money.
I still have my 06 and touch wood it has been trouble free so am keeping for a bit longer,but would love to upgrade the tank.

how many of the 20/25 year old tlr,s that frequent trials are stripped every year ? i know kiddies that have had them forom new and never stripped them

What do you think gas gas will say now the 4rt is the worlds best trials bike
there will be loads of people saying raga could of retained his champs if the final round had not been cancelled
i feel sorry for bou he has been short changed,the spark has been taken out of his win,
When he wins again for the next few years lets hope there will be no contraversy

If the trials bikes are as good build quality as my little cab then we will be in for a good trialer.
even the paint has stayed on the frame,
never mind what dabster says ,he recond a fourstroke would never win the world champs,

have not been on this site for a while hello everyone
having owned most of the modern four strokes for my money the monty is the only opton if you actually want to trial on it.
all of the other bikes still have issues ,
the monty is not the most four stroky (invented word i know) but it starts every time.
belive me a bike that lets you down a few times soon becomes annoying to say the least.

My bike is an 06,and we have had this topic before,alot of you two stroke boys still feel the need to clear out your bikes,two strokes oil up when on tickover for a long time and some need a blast to clean out, the monty on the other hand allways runs clean,just try to get out of the habbit.
some of the younguns down here rev the nuts off there bikes from cold 2 and 4 stroke,all engines need a warm up,the fourstrokes especialy,as seen by the clouds of smoke they billow when abused.

all this talk of the patter of tiny valves gets me all broody,
i would love a new baby but the wife says she is barron,and if i get one off someone else she will leave me

another point worth a mention
the lovelly exaust you talk about on the scorpa is impossible to re pack ,so after a year its knackered,out comes the welder.
i think the beta is the cheapest of the bunch at the momment,so the saving on continuous,and normally not esential developement is passed back to the customer,

sorry what we ment was better quality than other euro brands
the monty and scorpa are jap based,nuf said.
however g,g and sherc, are a bit flimsy to say the least.
