  1. Sounds like the fim are actually making sence at last , Back to no stop . well if everone follows suit we may see more takers in various championships . Ride on sunday and go to work monday ,not hospital ,winner mid thirtys next best mid seventys top ten 100 that is big scores ,lets see the top boys on ten top ten on 20/30 joe average 50/60 . Let the good times roll
  2. 100ml to 5 ltr = 50/1 ratio , i always use castrol 747 at this mix strength in two strokes and it smells like castrol R ,bit pricey but worth it ,says for multi cylinder high performance engines on the bottle but i have used it for well over 15 years with no problems

    Long Range Tank

Sorry folks tried a search ??? I know we have talked about this before but, where can i get one of those long range seat tank combos for the 4 rt???
  6. If you are trail riding aswell it may be worth looking at a four stroke, pump gas and faster top speed ,our montesas are very expensive over here but build quality and reliability are second to none ,plus you can fit a long seat and tank unit.
  7. I think if you look round it would probably be cheaper to buy an older 200 than the 80cc anyway ,The little bikes keep there money well, A nice beta techno 200 is a sleved down 250 so dont wear out either , Having said all this its still up to you and it would be fun/light.
  8. Just remember you dont have to buy the item if it is not as described On a bike or part that is so cheap it must be worth the money just get it sent, But i would never recomend spending top cash on description alone ,Always go and get it in person and remember you can still walk away
  9. Then the ex centre champions and pot hunters can still win and the rest of us can have a good days fun riding our bikes without killing ourselfs or smashing the cra* out of our bikes ,and go to work the next day.

    News

Spoke to a buddy living in france testerday he says there is talk of a government help package for scorpa Anyone heard anything????????
  11. What is wrong with the winner of a trial finishing on clean??? Seems like they need to take 20+ off the best riders . Just look at the results, a lot of trials now have winner 10 runner up 30 third place 100 . The clubman entry makes up the majority of the trials income, if there was say two hard stopper sections per lap to sort the stars out and the rest were set out for joe average everyone would come away happy, I am not knocking the blokes that do all the hard work,And still enjoyed my ride but it was to hard and i only did one lap then went for a practice, still good value. Fivemeister, I dont consider myself a star but i was a regular top five finisher and have 20 years + trials experience, probably more a middle of the road CLUBMAN....
  12. Exactly what has happened in the southwest ,I may go back to twinshock, last years c class winner and runner up have said the same about the clubman rout,
  13. Is it just me or are trials getting to hard again???? In the late 80s early 90s trials started getting stupid ,bouncing and backing up ,wich is fine if you are a tenager and go practicing two or three times a week ,but a lot of us normal guys only ride at trials ,alot have nowhere to go even if they had the time to , anyway in those days my local clubs went from 60+ entries to barley 20 . Are we in danger of doing it again ,I rode today in the clubman class and the magority of sections required a bounce or hop,I cant do that am i just to old or is my entry money no good/not wanted. at least i can still keep up at the pub
  14. I think the knob on the gate looks nicer how much is that ???? Not as nice as my cider pannels
  15. I am thinking of building something a bit different, How far can you go? is the only criteria air cooled motor or is like the twinshock can of worms?? I am thinking of modern frame with c90 honda power (or lack of it) may try a little 80 gas gas or beta,
  16. just a disc on the front, but i agree it would be hard to beat one for reliability and parts availability.and the drum rear works fine on them anyway, I alwats loved the nice mint green monty 310 i think,Thats probablt what i would go for ,but not defanitly the best.

    4rt Tuning Tips?

In my opinion the best bit of tuning advice for 4rt s is fit the twin map throttle body, It is not as expensive as you think. HAVE IT SET MILD AND WILD . The best money i spent on trials bits, and its all reversable, Its tru a quick action throttle is a cheap first try but i found the monty a bit sharp off the bottom as it was , and the throttle will not help this.
  23. Sorry my replie is bit late Thanks for the info
  24. Jokerr if you are still having issues??? A fix i tried a long time ago was moving the clutch lever inwards on the handle bar in effect gearing down the travel, When you get used to the clutch it works fine.
