The part number for the brake is the same, but what about the shifter?
Guy

Does anyone know if the shifter and brake levers from a 2015 ST fit on a 2019 St model?

Finger ???? The clutch stifness was one complaint I had on the one I tested this summer. I did not ride it for long but the bike is quite fun.

I bought a Jitsie Domino that fitted perfectly when I got it, after a while it became a little '' loose '' on my head. I emailled my friend at Splat Shop that confirmed me that the shell is the same for many size. So from a large size lining I went to a medium , it was on the tight side, so I use one side mediun and the other side large. The fit is perfect.

Back in the 70's I was riding a Bultaco Alpina 350. I could crank the bike while sitting. A friend had the same bike and would sware everytime he had to start his, he often ask me to crank his bike arguing his was harder to crank. He never got to be comfortable doing it. My point is: think about a situation where you are not in a ideal position and stall the bike, are you sure you will get confortable with it. As for the side of the crank, I don't think it make a difference.

The best way to '' seat '' the shoe in the hub is with chalk. The subject as been discussed many times here.
Guy

Have you '' seated '' the shoe properly ? What you describe is the same as I felt on my TY. The shoe where touching the drum only one spot.

A trials bike is a special beast but like all motorcycle, if it does not feel right at first you won't enjoy it. Don't let yourself influence by the guys telling you a 270,280... bike is fine ( or for real men ) many of them are thinking about selling the one they in the shed. Better wait for the right one a bit and enjoy it for a long time.

I'm very happy with my Forma, I bought a new pair this summer that are still in the box. The fit, for me, is perfect and I like flexibility. I ride a lot more than I compete ( at a low level ).

What we have here in Canada ( Aspen like ) is either 50:1 premix or 4 stroke fuel. I've been using the premix in all the equipment ( 4 str and 2 str ) for many years. I empty the fuel tank run the motor until it starve, put enough in the tank to run the motor for a few minutes and shut it down. When it's time to restart the equipment, I just add fresh fuel and go. Never had any problem since I go that way.

PS. : It's sadly nearly time to do it in my bikes, the weatherman is calling for snow in the next 2 week.

If you buy the 250 and master it, there will be many '' customer '' for your bike. I'm not sure about the other way around.

If you buy the 300 : Luc you'll have to use the FORCE !

This morning, I'm going to our local club for the next to last event. Great bunch of guys, nice sections, and I'll mark 5 on each section before I begin the competition because I've seen too many 5 marked as 2 or 3. That way I can enjoy it all and anybody can mark themselves all 0.
I will simply enjoy the ride.
