Mine too, then he presents his bill

Why didn't you buy the Honda?
That may have been a better choice
-
+1, same for me and I do exactly the same as you
Similar for the 4RT or a carbed bike
-
Agreed.................I run my own business and Sept/Oct were dire....Nov picked up and has been better, nothing on the horizon for Dec yet
-
Just scrap modern bikes and make everybody ride Pre-65's

Just seen the Countryfile forecast 10 mins ago

Death of a Leeds legend, who achieved a lot with his life

There's a place in Barnsley which has a good selection + parts or for a better deal buy used
You'll enjoy a 4RT, not the easiest or lightest to ride, but so rewarding when it comes together and you get the hang of it
Honda own Montesa, so the bike is basically a Honda and means it's well built and pretty reliable and they still look good after 4-5 years
Good Clubman bike

Go on...................make the Highland Police's day

There will be infinitely more competitive and rideable bikes (GG/Sherco/Beta Evo/Ossa 280) than a 4RT, but when it all comes rogether on the 4RT, it gives you immense satisfaction
4RT's are lovely bikes, but have achille's heels (weight, limited grip in some situations, poorer turning circle) however they have the ability to give the owner great satisfaction to own & ride
It's a Marmite bike - some love it and others hate it.............................

Ebay = Go in with your eyes open and your wallet closed...................Good luck

Agreed, but don't want to miss a trick on something that is a common improvement and could make all the difference
Mine is stock gearing and throttle body
-
Foolwing on from this threadhttp://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/37766-4rt-wow-0/.............what's the best general set-up (I know someone will say they're all different)
Gearing?
Bars?
Clutch - which type and/or 315 M/Cylinder?
Throttle body - program/single or 2 stage?
Tyres?
Pegs?
etc
Anyone got good tips for the average Clubmen rider?
-
Could you organise a Poll, i'm sure i'm not the only iPhone/Android user Trials rider................perhaps some don't know about it and how handy it is
-
Tried to synch TC on Tapatalk, but no go
Any chance of enabling Tapatalk, Andy...................so we can read/post on the move with our iPhones

Try NFU Mutual.....................about

Agreed
1st thing I do is change the suspension on both my road bikes, one runs full Ohlins - Front and Rear and the other has Front and Rear Wilbers

Take out the hub, check it for damage................if it's damaged, chuck it in the scrap bin
As for the rim and spokes, chuck it all in the scrap bin and buy new parts or wheel
Can't believe you're trying to salvage those spokes
-
Thanks for that, Andy
Being self employed, I fully understand
However I'd like to understand your rationale to have it on the front page (free to all) and not within the forum
Surely if the FS&W was within the Forum, it would create more value to to TC, keep out any security concerns by being protected and stop any undesirables maybe using it for free and maybe scamming genuine trials enthusiasts
If it was within the Forum, access could be limited to TC Forum Sunscribers, thus creating potentially more revenue to support the running of TC to all and the auduence would more than likely be committed Trialsters
I would sunscribe if this was the case
Just a thought
