  1. On Ross Danby's site, (I have just built and opening soon), we are trying something new There is a forum where you can talk to Ross and a seperate forum where you can talk to his Dad,(Mick) and ask questions how his '06 125 Gasser is tuned amongst other things. So watch this space http://www.rossdanby.net
  2. That side hop is pretty impressive - Never seen that done before I'll ask Ross to see if he can do it

Just picked mine up and agree with the dabster - Its much smoother than the 04 I use to have earlier in the year. The big noticable difference is in the suspension. Once I have had a few outings on it I'll write up a bit more on it .

I believe theres a place for partial subscription on a site like this. Take the site as it is and thats what you get free. Add special content like rider profiles & interviews/tech updates from the suppliers/ tech forums with recognised bike engineers contributing and the like e-mag once a month etc etc.... and this could be subscription. This could be for around 50p/week or so. Comments?
  6. Yeah, mine was on that lorry

I couldn’t disagree more. I don’t buy TMX but bought Trialsworld in the hope it would have what I wanted. Everything I need to know about trials is on this site except the stuff I would really like to know... You need a magazine that is a cross between the Times and the Sun!This sport has such a diverse level of intellect involved in it, that if its going to be one magazine, it needs to cater for us all. Trialsworld to me was more like the Sun. Lots of big pictures and weak on in-depth editorial content. However, I can appreciate the work you guys put into it on top of your current workloads. Seems to me that they couldnt have been serious about it anyway If they didnt plan to resource it fully from the beginning However, I did like the editorial on Ross and the comment from Eddy Lejeune in this month’s TWM. Eddy on Raga : He’s a good rider but has nothing up top!!! I do hope someone else picks up the mantle and this isn’t the end of a dedicated YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE forever.

Warm the hub with a hairdryer or hot air blower and use an expandable drift from the other side, or use a bearing puller. The Hub is not very strong and can easily get damaged if the bearing isnt drifted squarely. When replacing them if you warm the Hub again and put the bearing in the fridge the bearing should virtually fall in when fitted. Leave it for a few minutes after you have put it in to climatize.

Thats it !! I cant wait no longer - Mines on order
  17. And will it be worth waiting all that time for in your opinion? Firefox ( and Opera which I actually prefer better) will probally have a strong hold by then. Do you think MS can pull it back?
  18. Code the videos like below and they will work in any browser. By clicking the image, the user will be given the option to download to their computer or open and view automatically. In IE, it will open up your player and run the video. Substitue the URL's in this example as required. <center> <img src="../images/videos_blue.gif" width="380" height="32"> <p> <a href="http://212.219.116.40/~sbird/movies/aprillia.wmv"><img'>http://212.219.116.40/~sbird/movies/aprillia.wmv"><img width="360" height="288" border="0" src="http://212.219.116.40/~sbird/movies/aprillia.wmv" ></a> </p> </center> Hope that helps. If you want the vids to play in a page like you have it now, then thats possible but will need a bit more coding Regards Ian
  19. When you buy a car, you expect it to have a suitable security system to stop people getting in and stealing anything dont you ? Well, IE is like having a car with no doors left in the town centre car park all day with your wallet on the front seat (amongst other things)!! (which Im sure you know however it might be of use to others who dont know) I agree

  21. Because Internet Explorer is a security risk. Its well documented with respect to its vunerablities. Particular problems arise in the way it controls the application of ActiveX scripts. Firefox on the other hand is well know for its security features and is therefore first choice for the business world and for most other people who keep up with the times. It has a variety of plug-ins providing enhanced features. A myriad of different themes and also has the feature of Tabbed Browsing. And all this for free ( that made you lot sit up !!! ) GET IT BELOW AND RID THE WORLD OF MICROSOFT PHISH CODING http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

Dabster you perve like the way your thinking tho
  23. For a first attempt, thats a real good effort and well done The content is excellent and a real good read. The layout is fine. Clean and simple. A good design for heavy editorial content. On the website design front, I would suggest you check for cross browser compliance. Test it in firefox, opera and internet Explorer as IE is sooooo outdated now, the modern browsers coding requirements are a little different. Use this http://validator.w3.org/ to test if you have any mistakes and if its compliant with the coding you specified. Good luck ! Ian
  24. Nice to see Ross coming Second overall. Hes got to arguably be the most improved rider this year in his group ?? Would love to see the stats if anyone does them? Hot on the heels of Alexz for next year I reckon
