  1. Might be worth checking out? I've always used ATF
  2. If its hydraulic make sure there isn’t air in the system or a bad cylinder Could be a heavily worn clutch basket or swollen clutch plates. Best bet is to strip it down and have a look what’s happening inside You would probably be better using ATF fluid not 10w30
  3. As above All the trials rims seem to corrode, I use duct tape on the front rim
  4. you will need a rectifier, it won't run on AC. It might be worth doing the thermostat switch at the same time, it would be very annoying having the fan constantly running! try ebay for used parts

    Ty175 piston

a picture of the bore and side of the piston would be helpful, worn little end & big end bearings can make an engine rattle. and worn rings.
  6. Exactly, better to do the job correctly in the first place. maybe if your wheel is bodged up with sealant, you don’t worry about the odd lose spoke?
  7. for 2k you should get a good sound bike
  8. you really need to see the bike, before you can even guess the price. it could be worn out, or like new. road registered is a bonus, its nice to have a log book when you buy a bike
  9. if it runs, its fine. (just make sure it does have oil in it!) I tend to put old fuel in the wife's car
  10. might be worth asking https://www.omegapistons.com/index.php
  11. I'm in the market for a new or newish bike, but the more I look the more I like the TRS
  12. who's selling 18's at half price?
  13. Anyone know were I can get one in the UK? Gas Gas part no: G600000
  14. That's the same picture/bike another new user has just posted on here? https://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/70015-classic-villiers-engine-plus-bikes/?tab=comments#comment-483288
  15. The classifieds on this site is a good place to start, or maybe ebay if you want to auction them?

    Premix Oil

    Why would I, I have a Gasgas?

    Premix Oil

The reason manufactures recommend such lean amounts of oil is more to do with emissions from 2T engines

    Premix Oil

I run my Gasgas on 50:1 never had a problem with smoke or fouling, 10 years use and it’s never had a rebuild why would you want to put less oil in?
  19. Just because the route is easy it doesn’t make it easier to win, it just makes it easy for everyone Also, how many trials actually award trophies?
  20. I would guess the original are cup and cone type, a picture of the headstock would help to id the type needed
  21. Have a look here https://www.pjme.co.uk/acatalog/Cylinder_Re-Sleeving.html
  22. the sprocket has been welded on? that doesn't sound good
  23. I use the plastic number plate bolts, I weaken them with a Stanley knife. They work (and break) a treat
