Twin plugs but with one lead? Thats either what pschrauber says, a decompressor hole plugged with a plug, or so whenever you oil the plug, you can swap your plug lead to the other plug. And because the second plug was at a distance from the ignition point, it will not have oiled.

Thats because all the best riders are Spanish ?

Been washing bikes with TFR for the last 15 years. Nothing cleans like it, BUT! be careful with your dilution, and especially on bare aluminium such as barrels, silencers, radiators as it does stain if left on too long at too high a concentration (nothing a polish won't correct but id rather not have to). I seen a guy ruin a whole beta rev3 frame due to it. I usually spray tyres and plastics first, engine last, then rinse engine off first, so it doesn't get longer than a minute or so on aluminium parts. And never put it on neat, i usually mix around 10-1
Sometimes i use a snow foam with a brush if im doing something classic with lots of bare alloy. Not quite as good, but safer

"Leadmines" is run as a shop from a farm (don't let that put you off) but definitely worth a call as can be tricky to find
-
Leadmines motorcycles in newtownards (25 minute drive) definitely the widest range of trials helmets, easiness for trying on, and run by a helpful guy. Would recommend contacting before going as doesn't keep strict 9-5 hours, but open a few late nights
After that theres norman watts or russells motorcycles, both close to carryduff, again a 20 minute drive. Mainly MX shops, but may have a few trials helmet available (been years since i was in them). As for actually in belfast, afraid not.

A similar thing happened to sandifords

Depends on your definition of fanny

If this is bare aluminium you are talking about and its really bad, a wire wheel and a drill. Ive had staining before on barrels (particularly gasgas ones) which i rub with some scotch brite whenever im cleaning.
TFR works great, but it also does a good job at staining aluminium too, if left on too long at too high a concentration! Id advise against
If the parts are painted, you shouldn't be having any problems with a simple cleaner
-
Not clued up on beta electronics but most likely your lights are fed with AC, and the regulator/rectifier generates DC for your fan
-
Hes talking about a vertigo, not a beta
-
We need to know what year your bike is so we know what kind of rim you have
-
Sidis are a great boot, but mine like others, the sole has started to come away at the toe after 2 years. Gaernes IMO aren't worth the money, no protection and the build quality isn't what it used to be
-
^ As said, looks like an ordinary poly pocket would do at a pinch
-
Motocross manufacturers have been in denial the last 30 years also, making bikes louder and louder just to gain an extra bhp. Knock 10 dB of every bike and they might just come sociable again. The guys at the top aren't in tune with grass roots. Trials is no different
-
Every reply you make gets more pathetic
-
Seeing as ive attended and competed in a lot more WTCs than you then im sure its more reality than your reality....
Ive stated my ideas lots of times previously, but guess who always pops up to disagree "Heffergm". If you weren't acknowledging what i had to say previous times, why should i even bother this time?
-
Sorry, but you're clueless (IMO). Id happily present them to people that can at least admit GP is away to the dogs
-
If you think theres nothing wrong your head really is buried in the sand

Thats the problem! Asking people like that!! How about asking the dozens of really good national riders who would want to ride a world round but cant because it means certain injury. Sacrificing the growth of the sport to please a few elite riders is what's killing it all!
-
Yep, increasing a trial from 2 laps to 3 laps will fix everything ?
-
Did you ever see Jordi Tarres ride?
In the end who cares? The sport was infinitely more competitive and entertaining to watch
-
You had it in the past, 30 years ago you would have had 70 riders in the top grade. 25 years ago easily 50 in the top grade. 20 years ago 30. Now, 12. See a trend? Maybe you weren't around to experience world trials back then, but everyone who has experienced both knows hands down that was the golden era. The entry is still there, its just less people able to compete the top class, therefore diminishing it.
As for trial2, i mainly flick through it when the highlights come on.
-
Without proper regulation, any sport becomes a runaway train, with less and less teams and riders able to compete at the top level. Many sports, including F1 have introduced numerous restrictions over the years to hold it back and make it possible for the small teams to compete and its still a 1 horse race! Trials has had none for the last 50 years, its no wonder its become elitist. Going to 2 classes was admitting defeat, there should have been a stand taken then to curtail the advancement and keep as many riders in the top grade as possible. 3 grades will only take GP even further away from the semi professional or good amateur.
All GP is good for at the moment is the top 5 and the odd spectator. It does nothing for the advancement of the sport and the aspiring amateur rider. When national champions cant compete at the top level there is something fundamentally wrong
