Reliability
Last year I got to ride a `like` new 1985 TY350 for a day. Forgot how they were stock. The later rear shock was also a huge improvement.

Leaking Fuel Saga [Part 2]
I`m on the edge of my seat. I have seen a lot of mistakes from all the manufacturers, but this is interesting. Maybe just leave the fuel empty.

How Much Power?
A bigger bike can be more fun to ride, but a smaller engine is easier to control. If you actually compete, the less power can mean a better score.

How Much Power?
In your case the Beta 200 makes better power than your 200 gasser. Then again my favorite 16 year old ( My God sons little brother) showed up Sunday with a 2015 Beta 200. Nice little bike. And he placed better than ever!

Bike Dies After Water Crossings
On the older bikes we ran the vent tubes up and also added venting. The bikes could run almost as deep as the air intake. The modern water cooled bikes cannot go through that deep of water depending on temp. We have had numerous cylinders crack. Instead of adding venting, you can notch the flywheel cover to drain. ( On the lower side) Still run the venting up. But I would not ride a modern bike in too deep of water.

No More Non-Stop In Belgium
That`s funny as soon as I clicked like on Dof2 post I looked at who wrote it. No matter which rules we rode, the all day dab coming from the indoors spoiled (ruined) our sport. All the newbies since cannot be bothered with a five for not ever learning to ride!

Adjusting Clutch Feel Via Washer Thickness
I`ve only seen them from Japan. They are cheap, but should go out in standard post. I lost the website. It was a main Beta dealer in Japan.

Which Was The Best Twinshock Front Brake ?
Our local ITSA club now has a mono class. The NATC nationals allows any air cooled bike, cables, twin shocks. So a modified bike can suit all the vintage I ride. I gave up on AHRMA years ago.

2015 4Rt Deliveries
We had one rider in the club get a 2014 through the local Honda dealer. He bent the shift shaft at the first national. The local dealer did not help. We have not had parts through American Honda since the TL`s. Nice to see 2015 having parts.

No More Non-Stop In Belgium
You want no no-stop. Take away the all day dab and go to 1/2 a second a foot, but completely freestyle! That would be exciting!!

Which Was The Best Twinshock Front Brake ?
I learned to do nose wheelies on the stock mono ty hubs. I doubt you will ride now what we did back then. In fact that is what I have decided to ride next year.

Zap Vs Double Blip
Trouble is he did not hit the front tire low enough on the zap. The forced compression is the difference.

2015 4Rt Deliveries
Actually I have not heard of anyone getting spares from American Honda. Most are coming out of the UK. Besides S3 makes plenty. Locally the bikes will be available in March.

How Much Power?
Power itself does not matter. It`s how the bike delivers it to the ground. I don`t think I`ve looked at engine output since the 80`s.

Removing Kick Start Gear
You have to time the gear.

Clutch And Brake Lever Cross Reference
You need to find a trials dealer. Main stream motorcycle shops and the distributors that support them usually have no idea about trials unless someone there rides. You might get more response if you state your location. https://secure.rypusa.com/prodpage.cfm?cat_selected=188&product_selected=535&startrow=1

Is Being A Heavier Rider An Advantage?
Hate to say gravity always works for the lighter rider as long as you are saying same skill. Up,down or in circles. Take a look at all the good up and coming riders. Light as a feather and they fly up a rock.

Montesa 4Rt?
Never said that was one bike or several. Just said they don`t last forever. Thinking about it, you boys don`t even have sand. Rarely do you ride in a cloud of dust, We seldom ride when it`s wet. Myself, I cannot remember the last cylinder I bought on a trials bike. Never in 42 years. At least on my personal bike! But I have blown up a few other Honda`s!

Grips Rec
Renthal grips are great, but if you have a problem with too much grip no. Soft grips will tear your hands apart. I had very calloused hands and always gripped till I bled.

Montesa 4Rt?
You will have to excuse Brewtus, his mind is a little warped. He set this canyon last year for our vintage Experts. (He`s a committed Honda/Montesa nut.)

Sherco 2012 Fuel Problem Or Not !
A small damp spot is not much concern. Ask anybody that rode Betas for years. And yes checking the float valve at some point is good. Also checking proper float adjustment is just good wrenching.
