USA Texas Nationals on April 1st. Just bought a 2016 Beta 250 Factory and installed a Dunlop 803GP. First loop came in and had about 1psi. Luckily I had brought a full gallon of Slime tire sealant.( This place is notorious for flats as everything is some type of thorn.) Second loop I finished with 2.5 PSI Better but not good on an 8 mile loop. 3rd loop same result and the green stuff was coming out at one spot on the bead/rim. Next morning I added another six ounces and it`s held ever since. I`ll worry about it again when I change tires.
I had one appear on my tank last year. I had used some ethanol gas for just a test ride and drained it. Months later a blister appeared. You just verified what I feared.
You need to tap the bolts a few times with a ball peen hammer or a punch. This will knock the threads loose. Better to use a socket type allan to remove.
Dan might have the answer. There is a term some use and I can`t remember it. It`s like the death burble or something like that. The worst thing is Keihin does not sell the rubber parts to the tower. 2nd thing is soaking it in carb cleaner could make it even worse..
Probably someone that has played with mapping would know more. The factory usually showed n/a on any literature. We have 4 4rt`s at work and they really don`t rev real high as the stock unit is made to make the most torque at mid rpm.
The 4Rt has a very short RPM range. Who cares what a meter shows. You want more, there`s plenty in the aftermarket. I followed Frexia a little this weekend at the USA nationals. His bike rev`s way past what a stocker does.
One of the old Buls he regularly worked on finished both days of rounds 1 and 2 at the Texas Nationals last weekend. He will be missed by many. RIP Larry.
If you find top dead center it will almost engage at 12 oclock. If you always do this, it will take 1 ir two kicks. And it seems to start or let go of the bart before the peg hit.
I rode it.On and off switch until it has a clutch.Worst thing is everyone walks up and grabs a handfull of throttle and the bike crashes. With no noise, no one fhinks it is running!
Looks like a bit of other racing between the sections. The Sidi Discovery comment might just work. My son also has this problem with boots. Next time though he gets to buy them. Went through two pairs of Gaerne`s this way.
