  1. One of the old Buls he regularly worked on finished both days of rounds 1 and 2 at the Texas Nationals last weekend. He will be missed by many. RIP Larry.
  2. Smage won today with a clean day.Putt was second.

    riders

In the states, the UK or the World rounds. Most factories sponsor many riders.
  4. If you find top dead center it will almost engage at 12 oclock. If you always do this, it will take 1 ir two kicks. And it seems to start or let go of the bart before the peg hit.
  5. I rode it.On and off switch until it has a clutch.Worst thing is everyone walks up and grabs a handfull of throttle and the bike crashes. With no noise, no one fhinks it is running!
  6. The first year I have seen corrosion was a `92.
  7. Still have to ride one as I just rode a new EM a couple of weeks ago.
  8. The fork level is a 160mm without the springs and fully compressed. Pretty simple for most mechanics.
  9. Looks like a bit of other racing between the sections. The Sidi Discovery comment might just work. My son also has this problem with boots. Next time though he gets to buy them. Went through two pairs of Gaerne`s this way.
  10. Could be a cam chain tensioner. Either way, quit running it and tear her down.
  11. You might ask Gas Gas questions under Gas Gas to get a better response. Unfortunately the best video to replace the seal was removed from the internet by stupidity. A screwdriver and an allan wrench was all that was needed. I would fix it proper, as a spinning impellor could cost you in the long run.
  12. The skid plate does not need to be removed. In fact the frame bends so much that it makes it easier not too.
  13. not just IRC.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sT_1XvMHw8U&feature=youtu.be
  14. Thanks Bilks helping me spend my hard earned bucks. I am a sucker for tools!
  15. Does the manual not show the level at 160mm from the top. A level is a better measurement than a capacity. PS you can probably fix the leak without taking it apart. Lift the dust seal off and use a feeler gauge around the inside of the fork seal lip. This can dislodge any dirt causing the leak. Good luck.
  16. Probably from Beta only as it`s a reverse puller.http://shop.americanbeta.com/p/flywheel-puller-evo
  17. I don`t but curious, you rebuilding the motor already?
  18. Sounds more like the clutch is slipping in the higher gears.
  19. **** Billy, they just mount the bike backwards and sit on the bars! Don`t tell me you never rode a bike backwards? I started on bicycles and moved up to full size bikes. In the seventies there were a couple of guys that did this for a living in the states. Mainly doing simple things, but some could do high speed wheelies. Being right handed I sometimes crashed. At pushing 60 I only ride bicycles backwards anymore.
  20. 1984 Montesa 350. Hard to find a nice one. http://www.wikiwand.com/ca/Montesa_Cota_349/350
  21. The only way to check the shaft is to remove it. Also the pins on the drum the selector connects too can break.
  22. It`s supposed to be the rim that is slightly off on tolerance.
  23. Going to 4 springs is not the answer. You can take a spring out and measure it and order a lighter spring from several spring mfg`rs. Inside, outside, total length, collapsed length, number of coils and spring diameter. Takes some experimentation, but worth it. I just spent two days making the perfect clutch for me on my beta. I lost my tendon in the tip of my clutch finger at Christmas. After 40 yrs I just cannot get my middle finger to work instead of my index finger.
  24. Wrong, we do not want more rules. You should just worry about yourself. Most of my injuries have been torn ACL`s. So I wear custom knee braces. So should we require everyone to wear custom knee braces? Maybe we should require a test section and if you 5 it, you load the bike and go home. I have seen countless 5`s from the stupid magnets. And stupid mistakes when your hand comes off the bars. Ever seen them at a motocross race yet? Maybe we need a lanyard in the car so you cannot text. That would be fun watching the cars stalling all over the place! By the way Guy`s I was mistaken. I`ve ruined a perfectly good helmet twice. I forgot the time a large truck ran me over on the street.
