  1. Were Alex, Ross & Lee on 125s?
  2. I stand corrected! I see the papers so geared up for trials/motorcycling that these are listed under cycling images...
  3. Now that surprised me, flipping through the sports pages of todays Independent I find a two page full colour trials photo. Is that a first? Wrongly captioned as J.Cowley on a Beta, its really John Lee on a Sherco as their web page correctly identifies. Looks like he's landed heavily in the stream as the suspensions well compressed. No results or report of course, but its a start. Could this be inspiration for trials snappers ? I wonder what the Indy pays for such a smudge? http://3276.e-printphoto.co.uk/independent...amp;action=view Also pictured is Steve Workman on a Mont.
  4. Follow the guide on the sherco/sherco USA web site to fitting the rubber band. Its a lot easier their way...
  5. yes - according to parts list
  6. 125 has diferent inlet rubber manifold
  7. The sticking kill switch is well known, just enlarge hole in outer casing. The Billy t carb mods (I've used these on 5 betas now) can be found here is you search. If you're stuck - PM me & I'll send pdf.
  8. Here in the uk - there is no prob getting insurance cover for trials where riders like to have a choice. Its down to the claims record. Trials = safe sport = low claims.

    Beta 4-stroke

Nick, see: http://www.google.com/language_tools?q=t&a...s=en&hs=JDX & then I noticed link on R2's page, doh! R2w, Easy to kick over - do you need to find TDC or is it just kick & go? And did you notice it any heavier on the front ie more effort to lift?
  10. Mr Singe, Drifting off topic here, I amazed you can remember who conquered the hill after all these years. Up until a couple of years ago it was still in use in Carshalton's South Coast Group Trial. Excellent venue now sadly lost to trials... Are the two smudges of yerself from the same day? And what are you riding these days or is there another use for PJ1? Here's the only recent pics from that hill I have: big hill photo1 hil pic 2 (pivotpegs man)
  11. I note the vote is slipping the wrong way...

  14. I'm using Picassa web albums for my photo pages. It offers: Embed in Blog/MySpace Copy and paste the HTML below to post a thumbnail of this image on your blog or MySpace page. & gives this html... <table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/motomerlin/DownlandTrial06/photo#4999424968239087634"><img src="http://lh3.google.com/image/motomerlin/RWGGhUEcABI/AAAAAAAAAZI/COHHwl-nUx8/s288/DSCF0644.JPG"></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:66%; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/motomerlin/DownlandTrial06">Downland Tria...</a></td></tr></table> Can I use that to display thumbnail image in messages here? Cheers, Mike
  15. http://www.northberksmcc.com/ Results & pics on club's website above. Thanks to all for a great day out. For me it was a day of fives & cleans, with a few too many of the fives... But still its always fun on a Pampera.
  16. Usually 35 - 38 miles round, with a fair bit of of road. Not sure if they still have use of the Green Lanes now - we'll see. If it rains - then it can be tricky, but great fun. It it dries on the day then no probs. Are you on the easy or easier route?

    Beta 4-stroke

ALSO THE BETA HAS THE TRIAL 4 T Until yesterday they refuted it, but today in the stand beta to the Hall of the Motorcycle T have arrived the new Trial Beta 4. “and' a born motion in order to run - it has declared Donated Mile, one of the responsibles of this plan - but with a various concept from other realizations. We have much more power low and our motor turns perfectly to thousand turns and it is only extinguished to 750. The power max is to 7500 turns but we have the tarato limiter to 11.000. With one rolled of 250 cc. we have found the best compromise in this motor that is to the 100% Beta. The thermal group is to 4 valves with distribution monotree in head and Mikuni carburetor. The weight is of single 2 chili advanced to our equal version to 2T and is a beautiful result considering that the ciclistica is practically equal. We have aimed a lot also at the silenziosit
  18. Used the smaller pilot & main on 5 Betas now, 200 & 250s - all seem to benefit. Had a very brief spin on an 07 200 Sunday. Motor seems to have improved no end, much better response than the 04 200 I had.
  19. Voici 4 dates de grandes classiques en France. Le 08 Avril 2007 3 jours de L'Indre Le 20 Mai 2007 4 jours de L'aveyron Le 14 Juillet 2007 4 jours de La creuse Le 26 Aout 2007 5 jours du Verdon from the trialsmag web page
