Hi Martin Suspected that it was a Climber bottom end,got to be lots of those kicking about ! Electronic ignition, smaller flywheel, must transform the bike. Ross zisko62, in danger of getting into the "non-bike" conversation and apparently that's been banned !

I saw the bike, but unfortunately didn't have a camera with me. Frame looks lower at the seat, footrest moved. Look at the flywheel cover, looks like climber. Love to have a shot on it. Ross

  5. Nice bike, doesn't look like its had a hard life. Re Betor forks have a look at http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/38519-are-betors-better/ Dont think there was any general agreement. I now have springs supplied by Bultaco UK in my Marzocchi's and like them, old springs are about 50mm shorter ! (not as good as the Paioli's on the Aprilia, but a lot better than the BSA)
  6. What did you end up getting Patrik ?

  9. Pat Slinn is on here sometimes.
  10. I've just got over that picture of that bloke with a bike in a bath !

As above, but personally I wouldn't worry.
  12. As above, cant say I've ever seen a hub with raised location points. Previous owner probably turned the old one to get more wear from it.
  13. Do they not measure the width on the inside ? Most rims I have, have the WM marked on them somewhere.
  14. Sent my entry off for the Sunday only as I can only get a one day pass ! Really enjoyed both days last year, sections were very good, area fantastic. Ross
  15. Sorry, cant remember as its been on for a year or more, probably plain. Got it here http://www.trialsbits.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=83_179&products_id=1738 e.mail them and I'm sure they will be able to tell you.
  16. Yes, use one on my SWM. Only used it with the nipple closest to the bars position, what you gain in leverage you lose in disengagement so not perfect. Would still recommend it though.
  17. Agreed
  18. I prefer this type if using one finger.
  19. My 1980 TL320 bought new, with the full frame loop at the back, was black. Later ones with cut off frame loop were Pernod blue. Ross
  20. Sure I read on here somewhere that you get ABC etc pistons, and you can sometimes get away with the next size up without rebore.
  21. I was looking at it to, (while drinking Bluebird) is it a converted mono ? Forks ? Ross
  22. To be fair, Breagh's trials are very popular (100+ entries) and are enter on day, so comment is relevant.
  23. The BMW used a pinion from an outfit to lower the gearing, still 1st for everything. Also had a base gasket that was about 10mm thick !
