If your over 6' it will definitely make it nicer to ride.
  2. Holding on to tight, will tire your arms quickly, and you need to be "loose" to move / compensate. Also, practising is probably more physical than riding a trial , as usually it's more intense with fewer breaks to recover.
  3. racing your mate/s to the next section, helping fix mechanical problems, sharing sweets/ tools/plugs/ pints afterwards. All the above, and this is why multi day events are even better as you have so much more time to share stories / experiences - good and bad. . ( you meet the strangest of people queuing for pipeline !!!)

  12. As above, but have the fork welded first to fill in the dent.
  13. I prefer to watch trick bikes being ridden, than original bikes being polished ?
  14. Google the part number ?
  15. Merry Christmas to you too, I'd appreciate it you would not use a conversation on a "forum" as an example of the following - "You'll have to get used to that on here . It's no wonder why very few even bother to look on TC these days ."
  16. If the timing was very advanced the engine / exhaust would run at very high temperature, it could have been crap getting burnt out, hopefully !
  17. Just answer the question. Why the random personal attack ?
  18. The "cam" is the centre of th flywheel, so it does need to be fully home, but not necessarily tightened. (always wondered what nobody makes a dummy centre)
  19. Are you checking with the flywheel fitted ?
  20. Interesting, a random personal attack criticising spirited debate between friends !!! Of the dozens of civilised discussions available, you and "friend" chose to comment on just one ! What are your true motives / prejudices ?
  21. Imagine a figure 8, just an extra tube welded on .
  22. I've seen an additional "end" welded on, not the prettiest solution but if you can weld takes 10 mins.
  23. Is the writing on the sticker the correct way up ?
  24. What he said, when the piston is in the bore it may not move, check that first.
  25. Excellent advice, bread in, hold, bread out ?
